Role Overview:The HR &amp; Admin Head will oversee all human resource, administrative, and compliance functions of the Mumbai Biocluster, which comprises three key divisions &mdash; R&amp;D, Services, and Event Management. The role involves strategic workforce planning, institutional compliance, performance management, and administrative efficiency to support a high-performing, mission-driven organization.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Human Resource Management</li><li>Develop and implement HR policies, recruitment plans, and onboarding processes for all divisions.</li><li>Design and manage performance appraisal systems aligned with organizational goals.</li><li>Foster an inclusive and collaborative work culture across scientific, technical, and administrative teams.</li><li>Oversee payroll, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, labor laws), and HR documentation.</li><li>Administration &amp; Operations</li><li>Manage day-to-day administrative operations, procurement coordination, and facility management.</li><li>Liaise with ICT Mumbai for infrastructure, security, and vendor management support.</li><li>Ensure smooth functioning of office operations, travel logistics, and event-related administrative support.</li><li>Organizational Development</li><li>Build HR systems to support expansion of R&amp;D and service activities.</li><li>Support staff training and skill development initiatives in coordination with Biocluster leadership.</li><li>Maintain documentation for audits, grants, and partner compliance requirements.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Postgraduate degree in HR, Management, or related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 8&ndash;12 years of experience in HR and Administration, preferably in academic, research, or innovation-driven organizations.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.</li></ul>Desirable Attributes:<ul><li>Experience in multi-divisional structures (R&amp;D, services, and events).</li><li>Familiarity with Section 8 company operations, statutory compliance, and CSR or donor-funded projects.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;40,000.00 - &#8377;80,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Matunga, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
