The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the facility. This role ensures residents, staff, and visitors enjoy a safe and comfortable environment by keeping all systems in top working condition and compliant with regulatory standards.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, chillers, and refrigeration units</li><li>
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records</li><li>
Monitor and adjust systems to maintain proper temperature, humidity, and air quality</li><li>
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and state/federal regulations</li><li>
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency repairs</li><li>
Coordinate with facility leadership to minimize disruptions and downtime</li><li>
Support general maintenance tasks as needed to keep the building operating smoothly</li><li>
Maintain inventory of HVAC tools, materials, and replacement parts</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications &amp; Skills</h3><ul><li>
High school diploma or GED required</li><li>
EPA Refrigeration Certification (Type I and II or Universal) required</li><li>
HVAC certification or technical training from an accredited program preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience (healthcare or commercial facility preferred)</li><li>
Strong knowledge of system diagnostics, controls, and repair techniques</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
