Mural Industrial Staffing is seeking an experienced <b>HVAC Duct Fabricator</b> on behalf of a well-established heating and air conditioning provider in the York, Nebraska area.</div><div>
This is a hands-on, shop-based role responsible for <b>fabricating sheet metal ductwork</b> used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The position plays a critical role in supporting installation teams by ensuring high-quality, accurately built duct systems are ready for field deployment.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></div><ul>
<li>Read and interpret shop drawings, cut sheets, and layout specifications</li>
<li>Fabricate rectangular and round ductwork to specification</li>
<li>Build duct fittings including elbows, transitions, offsets, and reducers</li>
<li>Operate shop equipment including <b>plasma table, shear, brake, and related machinery</b>
</li><li>Assemble duct using industry-standard methods including <b>TDC/TDF and slip &amp; drive connections</b>
</li><li>Install turning vanes and complete finishing work on fabricated pieces</li>
<li>Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality</li>
<li>Move materials and finished products using a forklift as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment</li><br>

<div><b>Required Qualifications</b></div><ul>
<li>Minimum <b>3&ndash;5+ years of HVAC duct fabrication or sheet metal experience</b>
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication layouts</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with <b>plasma cutting and standard sheet metal shop equipment</b>
</li><li>Knowledge of duct fabrication methods including:</li>
<li>TDC/TDF connections</li>
<li>Slip &amp; drive systems</li>
<li>Turning vane installation</li>
<li>Strong measurement and basic math skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team-oriented shop environment</li>
<li>Reliable, consistent attendance and ability to meet production expectations</li><br>

<div><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></div><ul>
<li>Experience fabricating duct for both residential and commercial HVAC systems</li>
<li>Forklift experience or certification</li>
<li>Familiarity with shop workflow and production scheduling</li>
