 The Sales Reconciliation Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of sales data across a network of stores. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of retail operations. The Sales Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for reconciling daily sales transactions, ensuring that physical sales records match the data recorded in the store management system.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 &middot; Retrieve and compile daily sales reports from each store location.
 
 
 
 &middot; Compare physical sales records (e.g., cash register tapes, lottery reports) with the data recorded in C Store Pro.
 
 
 
 &middot; Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical and system-recorded sales.
 
 
 
 &middot; Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and potential errors.
 
 
 
 &middot; Ensure accurate mapping of products and categories in C Store Pro to prevent reporting discrepancies.
 
 
 
 &middot; Reconcile lottery sales, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of lottery transactions.
 
 
 
 &middot; Maintain detailed records of all reconciliation activities and findings.
 
 
 
 &middot; Prepare and submit daily sales reconciliation reports to management.
 
 
 
 
 Price book Management:
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Create and maintain accurate price books across all sales channels (online, in-store, etc.).
 
 
 
 &middot; Implement and track promotional pricing and discounts.
 
 
 
 &middot; Ensure price accuracy and consistency across all systems.
 
 
 
 &middot; Ensure that price markups are maintained across all product lines.
 
 
 
 &middot; Ensure that contracted vendor pricing is accurately implemented across all stores.
 
 
 
 &middot; Analyse price competitiveness and make recommendations for adjustments
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 &middot; 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment with a focus on sales reconciliation or accounting.
 
 
 
 &middot; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
 
 
 
 &middot; Strong understanding of retail operations and POS systems.
 
 
 
 &middot; Proficiency in MS Excel.
 
 
 
 &middot; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
 
 
 &middot; Attention to detail and accuracy.
 
 
 
 &middot; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role will involve working closely with international suppliers across the U.S. Moreover, EU, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely sourcing of parts and equipment for industries including marine, oil &amp; gas, mining, and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, proactive in problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, global procurement environment.
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and prepare cost comparison reports.
 
 
 
 &middot; Manage purchase requests and assist in the preparation of RFQs and RFPs.
 
 
 
 &middot; Negotiate pricing, lead times, and shipping terms under supervision.
 
 
 
 &middot; Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
 
 
 
 &middot; Coordinate shipments with logistics teams and monitor delivery schedules.
 
 
 
 &middot; Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential alternative suppliers.
 
 
 
 &middot; Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with project needs
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
 
 
 
 &middot; 0&ndash;2 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience
 
 
 
 &middot; Basic understanding of procurement processes, RFQs/RFPs, and international trade terms.
 
 
 
 &middot; Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
 
 
 
 &middot; Good communication and negotiation skills.
 
 
 
 &middot; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP knowledge is a plus.
