Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in various family law matters, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in legal administrative tasks, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Duties<ul><li>Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents related to family law cases, including pleadings, discovery, orders, and agreements.</li><li>Maintain and organize case files.</li><li>Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and communicating with clients.</li><li>Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.</li><li>Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience as a family law paralegal is ideal; however, experience as a paralegal in civil litigation or in a legal administrative role will be considered.</li><li>Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>We encourage qualified candidates who are passionate about family law to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Newport News, VA 23606 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
