Position Summary Seeking an adaptable General Practice Attorney to join a dynamic Cleveland law firm. This role entails providing comprehensive legal support across diverse practice areas, acting as a first-line legal advisor, and referring clients to specialists when cases require deeper expertise.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Advise clients on a variety of legal matters including:</li><li>Estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney)</li><li>Real estate transactions, purchase agreements, lease reviews</li><li>Contract drafting and review</li><li>Minor criminal or traffic matters and small claims representation</li><li>Business formation for small enterprises (LLCs, partnerships, etc.)</li><li>Basic personal injury or landlord‑tenant disputes</li><li>Conduct client intake, legal needs assessments, research, drafting, and representation in municipal or small courts.</li><li>Identify cases exceeding the firm's generalist scope and refer clients to qualified specialists.</li><li>Maintain continuity and holistic understanding of client&rsquo;s legal affairs by managing multiple related matters.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.</li><li>Admission to the Ohio State Bar and in good standing, including meeting character and fitness requirements.</li><li>Experience in a broad range of legal areas.</li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-focused skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in small firm or solo settings with generalist caseloads.</li><li>Versatility and willingness to manage cross‑disciplinary legal matters.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience.</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance.</li><li>Professional development and CLE reimbursement.</li><li>Flexible work arrangements where applicable.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
