Reporting to the Director, IT Infrastructure &amp; Business Applications, the Full Stack Developer works closely with the Associate Director of Enterprise Applications to support, maintain and enhance the functionality of the enterprise applications, databases and other custom tools. The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, working across the full technology stack, that meet the Museum&rsquo;s needs. 
 
Essential Functions:
<ul><li>Work closely with Associate Director of Enterprise Applications to understand the organization&rsquo;s needs and requirements, and assist with the recommendations and development of technical strategies, in order to enhance the functionality and usefulness of our application systems.
</li><li>Collaborate with Manager of Conservation Administration and teams from Exhibition Planning, Conservation, Rights and Licensing and the Registrar&rsquo;s Office to design, test and implement new and modified applications.
</li><li>Act as the primary support person for our Collections Database, The Museum System (TMS).
</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, C# and T-SQL for both front-end and back-end components.
</li><li>Assist in managing SQL Server databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
</li><li>Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces with ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
</li><li>Develop APIs and integrate with third-party services as needed.
</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and maintainable codes while following coding standards and best practices.
</li><li>Create technical documentation and user guides.
</li><li>Conduct code reviews as needed.
</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
</li>Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.

Requirements and Characteristics:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
</li><li>3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in database and application software development and support with expertise in ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server.
</li><li>Strong understanding of object-oriented design, application development concept and relational databases
</li><li>Experience working with RDBMS like SQL Server, writing views, procedures and functions
</li><li>Experience with MS Visual Studio
</li><li>Experience with API development and integration
</li><li>Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks, procedures and functions
</li><li>Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems
</li><li>Knowledge of Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) preferred.
</li><li>Strong relationship management skills and a collaborative style to work directly with users, understand their needs/requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions
</li><li>Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code review
</li><li>Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
</li><li>Excellent time management and organization skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
</li><li>A strong commitment to delivering high-quality and robust solutions
</li><li>Ability and willingness to learn appropriate programming languages to adapt to systems already in place and provide support for future projects
</li><li>Must exercise discretion and judgment in all aspects of handling confidential and sensitive information
</li><li>Familiarity with TMS, e-Museum or other collections management system
</li><li>Familiarity with image formats and processing techniques
</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
</li><li>Experience with IIS administration. -Experience with Git and GitHub
</li><li>Certification in relevant technologies
</li><li>Supportive of the Museum&rsquo;s efforts and support of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA)
</li>Affinity for or interest in working in a museum or cultural environment desirable

Full Stack Developer

 Reporting to the Assistant Art Director, the Graphic Designer is a key member of the Museum&rsquo;s Design Department. The Graphic Designer provides graphic and experiential design solutions for world class exhibition projects and art gallery enhancements. Basic functions include the layout and production of graphics needs for all physical spaces in the museum.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Core member of design team along with 3D Designer for assigned special exhibition projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assume graphic design duties for fulfilling sign requests from all areas of the Museum, including visitor services, membership, education, curatorial, programs, events, facilities, and communications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarize self with various in-house methods and practices involved with the design, production and installation of gallery environmental graphics (labels, text panels, cut vinyl signage, etc..).
 </li>
 <li>
 Design, typeset, and facilitate the production of graphics for gallery changes. This includes working with curatorial staff and project manager to create object labels, text panels, maps, and diagrams
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the production staff with the preparation and installation of gallery labels, text panels, maps, museum signage, and other related didactic and graphic materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sharp manual skills in order to produce graphics related materials, including matte cutting and applying vinyl lettering
 </li>
 <li>
 Display a proficiency with Mac based graphics software including, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute ideas and insights during Design meetings/reviews in order to implement innovations and cost-effective solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in ADA standards and practices in order to apply these standards to graphic design deliverables
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Secondary Functions

 Familiarity and strong interest in Art History and Design
 </li>
 <li>
 Willing to travel and research environmental/graphic designs in other museums as well as suitably related spaces

 2 years of Graphic Design experience, preferably in print and/or environmental graphic design
 </li>
 <li>
 BA in Graphic Design preferred
 </li>

 Keen interest in Art and Design
 </li>

 Extensive knowledge of and experience with typography
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency with Mac based graphics software, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite
 </li>
 <li>
 Good manual skills including precision cutting, applying vinyl lettering, and familiarity with hand tools and electric power tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work collaboratively, professionally, and gracefully with colleagues from many departments. Ability to communicate and troubleshoot design solutions with non-designers. Team player
