Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist engineers in building and assembling prototypes of waste-to-energy equipment (reactors, shredders, conveyors, thermal units, etc.).</li><li>Perform welding and metal fabrication, including:</li><li>MIG/TIG/Arc welding (as applicable)</li><li>Cutting, grinding, and finishing metal parts</li><li>Fabricating frames, mounts, pipes, and machine components</li><li>Read and interpret mechanical drawings, CAD outputs, and assembly diagrams.</li><li>Conduct mechanical fitting, installation, and alignment of motors, shafts, bearings, couplings, and thermal system components.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and prototypes.</li><li>Support testing and experimental setups, collect measurements, and assist with improvements based on test results.</li><li>Work with workshop tools including drills, grinders, cutters, welders, and measurement instruments.</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineers to provide feedback on manufacturability, design tweaks, and field issues.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment; follow all industrial safety and welding safety protocols.</li><li>Manage inventory of parts, materials, and consumables used in fabrication and prototyping.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Technician trade, Fabrication, or related field.</li><li>Proven hands-on experience with welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) and metal fabrication.</li><li>Strong skills in mechanical assembly, fitting, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow engineering instructions.</li><li>Experience using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.</li><li>Understanding of basic mechanics, thermodynamics, and safety guidelines.</li><li>A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Passion for climate tech, sustainability, and building physical systems that make a real difference.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
