Location: Baltimore, MD Compensation: $24.00 per hour Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 35 Guaranteed hours Start Date: ASAP Benefits: 1 Week Paid Vacation + 3 Paid sick DaysAbout the PositionA professional Baltimore family is seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Nanny/Household Manager to care for their nearly 6-year-old son while helping maintain an organized and smoothly running household.The family&rsquo;s son is neurodivergent, highly intelligent, and thrives with consistency, structure, and routine. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of predictable schedules, be patient and nurturing, and enjoy helping a child succeed through supportive guidance and clear expectations.This position combines childcare and household management responsibilities, making it perfect for a candidate who enjoys staying busy, taking initiative, and becoming an important part of a family&rsquo;s daily life.ScheduleThis is a full-time position with 35 guaranteed hours per week.Typical schedule includes:<ul><li>Arrive between 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.</li><li>Assist with the morning routine</li><li>School drop-off by approximately 8:45 a.m.</li><li>Return to the home around 12:30 p.m. for household management duties</li><li>School pick-up and transportation to after-school activities</li><li>Parents typically return home between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.</li></ul>Schedule details may vary slightly from week to week and will be communicated in advance.Candidates must also be available to work one weekend approximately every 6&ndash;8 weeks.Childcare Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide attentive care for a nearly 6-year-old boy</li><li>Maintain structure, routine, and consistency throughout the day</li><li>School drop-off and pick-up</li><li>Transport child to extracurricular activities and appointments</li><li>Support emotional regulation and independence</li><li>Encourage learning, engagement, and age-appropriate development</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents regarding schedules and daily updates</li></ul>All driving is local and within approximately 15 minutes of the family&rsquo;s home.Household Management Responsibilities<ul><li>Meal preparation</li><li>Family laundry</li><li>Changing and laundering bedding</li><li>General household tidying and organization</li><li>Maintaining organized household systems</li><li>Running household tasks during school hours</li><li>Helping keep the home running efficiently and smoothly</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous professional nanny experience required</li><li>Experience working with neurodivergent children strongly preferred</li><li>Excellent organizational and planning skills</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy</li><li>Patient, calm, and nurturing personality</li><li>Ability to maintain routines and follow schedules consistently</li><li>Comfortable working in a physically active environment with multiple flights of stairs</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required</li><li>Reliable personal vehicle required</li><li>Current flu vaccination required</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and enjoys creating structure for children.
