</p><p></p><p><b>What you will experience in this position:
</b></p><p>Provide quality assurance support and lead root cause problem solving activities that are aligned to improve internal and external quality levels, supporting overall customer satisfaction of our products.
</p><ul><li>Lead problem solving activities for both product and manufacturing processes, with assistance from Quality Engineer
</li><li>Drive root cause analysis investigations with support from small cross functional groups
</li><li>Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitoring, analyzing the quality of manufacturing processes and products
</li><li>Provide support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities
</li><li>Provide support to quality engineering in updating Quality Systems procedures and work instructions
</li><li>Create material and process deviation documentation
</li><li>Understand, adhere to, and develop processes compliant with the Quality Management Systems (QMS) objectives, as well as train other personnel to adhere to QMS standards
</li><li>Support internal and external ISO standard audits
</li><li>Provide formal documented FAI reports suitable for customer or internal use as required
</li><li>Determine and use appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements
</li><li>Effectively communicate with appropriate areas as needed, (Operations, Supply, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Supplier Quality, Receiving Inspection, Customer Service, Production Planning, Logistics, etc.)
</li><li>Lead the activities that maintain and control the calibration status of inspection, test, measurement, and calibrated production equipment
</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>You have:
</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED
</li><li>Ability to read schematics, blueprints and process related documents. GD&amp;T knowledge is a plus.
</li><li>Certified Weld Inspector with American Welding Society (AWS) or the ability to become certified
</li><li>Knowledge of how liquid cooling system equipment operates and functions is a plus
</li><li>2+ years working in the quality/manufacturing field
</li><li>Ability to use measurement tools and techniques
</li><li>Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
</li><li>Knowledge and experience with ISO9001:2015 Quality Systems requirements is a plus
</li><li>Technical writing experience is a plus
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills:
</b></p><ul><li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks is key to being successful in this role
</li><li>Must be able to interpret order requirements, quotes, drawings, and draw conclusions
</li><li>Ability to use precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometer, paint mill gauges, etc.)
</li><li>Skilled in identifying root causes of routine problems/issues and the ability to develop recommendations for resolution
</li><li>Ability to interpret and update Quality Systems / ISO procedures and documentation to meet certification requirements
</li><li>Comfortable using computer systems and software including MS Office Applications and MS SharePoint
</li><li>ERP System (JD Edwards is a plus) experience
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:

nVent&rsquo;s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee&rsquo;s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

</b></p>$23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour

</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Plan, lay out, build and perform all required operations involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in the plant, office and grounds.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Work from drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, manufacturer manuals, work orders, or instructions.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Plan and lay out installations, compute wire sizes and balance loads, and follow electrical codes.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Bend and install conduit, pull and terminate wires, and connect complex control boards.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Install switchboards, motors, controls, and lighting fixtures.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Diagnose trouble on production and building electrical equipment, determine repairs necessary, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments .
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Overhaul motors replacing bearings, bushings, brushes, or cleaning armatures.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Perform other relat ed maintenance trade functions outside of the electrical scope.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Perform necessary preventive maintenance operations and report recurring difficulties or apparent misuse of equipment.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain required records including a file of plant electrical and machinery layouts.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain electrical schematics and spare parts inventory.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Instruct, direct and assist lower class electrician or helper .

</p></div><div><ul><li><p>High School diploma or equivalent . Additional experience, training or formal education is beneficial.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>5 + years Industrial Electrical Maintenance Experience.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Journeyman Electrician license
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Strong troubleshooting skills necessary , with the ability to make informed decisions.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to work in a fast- paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Heavy lifting required (50 plus lbs ). Lift truck operator experience required .
