 Planning

 Lead the preparation and consolidation of Nakilat's annual budget, short- and long-term forecasts, ensuring they meet management's requirements and provide comprehensive analysis and explanations.

 Lead and manage the company's financial risk activities, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for both new and existing projects. Serve as the Risk Champion, ensuring that financial risk management practices are embedded across the organization and aligned with strategic objectives.

 Internal Controls

 Monitors internal KPI targets and interacts with the different functions for regular performance reviews and evaluation of actual data.

Head of Financial Planning & Reporting

 Job Summary and Purpose
 
 
 
 
 Support the activities of the marine personnel who are on vessels wholly owned by the organization as defined within the in-house safety management system of NAKILAT. Ensure that the company vessels that are under their control are manned by properly qualified, experienced and competent personnel.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities:
 
 
 
 
 Onboarding:
 
 
 
 1. Establish and maintain an updated and comprehensive Relief Plan up to one year in advance for all officers who are going offshore.
 
 
 2. Organize travel arrangements for the officers to join and leave the vessels. If required, the person can also take the advice of third parties such as port agents and travel agents.
 
 
 3. Ensure that the officers at all times satisfy the training and documentary requirements as per the policies and procedures of the company and the legal requirements of the ship&rsquo;s registry. E.g. - Flag and National Certificates of Competency, Special Qualification Certificates. Ensure that all this data is recorded in an agreed format.
 
 
 
 Appraisal and Performance Management:
 
 
 
 4. Review the appraisal reports for all officers and follow-up on recommended actions with regards to performance management. E.g. - Identification of training needs, disciplinary matters.
 
 
 5. Establish a personal development plan for all the officers and monitor the same on a continuous basis.
 
 
 
 Training Programs:
 
 
 
 6. Liaise with the training section on scheduling training courses for personnel under their responsibility.

 Systems Management:

 Maintain up-to-date and functioning management systems that encompass Fleet requirements of legislations and certifying authorities.

 Manage internal and external program of NSQL and vessels compliance audits, and act as a focal point for advice to management and staff onboard and ashore on compliance.
