 The Senior Supply Chain Specialist manages the procurement process for Nalu&rsquo;s product portfolio and ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of requisite products and services. This individual is an expert in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the company&rsquo;s operational and financial goals.
 
 
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develops and implements procurement strategies for raw materials and assemblies required for Nalu&rsquo;s medical devices
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes decisions that consider internal &amp; external constraints and needs of other groups with the ability to communicate those strategies vertically and horizontally across the organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Identifies, evaluates, and selects suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiates contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal value
 </li>
 <li>
 Represents Nalu&rsquo;s business interests to external suppliers and entities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with internal stakeholders such as R&amp;D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to align procurement and inventory activities with business needs
 </li>
 <li>
 Builds bridges across teams to improve product deliverables and elevate the technical standard of the Operations department
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops a deep understanding of product needs and recommend solutions for competing technical choices
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains accurate procurement records and generates reports for management review.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extracts and interprets inventory transactions to derive business intelligence applicable to optimize Operations department performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

 </ul>
 
 QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the medical devices industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to deliver technically relevant communications to functional groups in an easy-to-understand format
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and break new ground within supply base to achieve cost and reliability improvements
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards for Class II medical devices
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MRP procurement software and lean Supply Chain principles (e.g. kanban, statistics-based supply planning)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern ERP systems, NetSuite experience a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in leading a team to think objectively and provides new ideas with supporting data for consideration when challenging current data and assumptions
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to assess reality and set clear functional priorities in stressed situations; support/influence adherence to processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Available to travel up to 5-8% of the calendar year for business purposes
 </li>
