Southern Live Oak Wellness (SLOW), LLC is an evidence-based, client-centered behavioral health organization providing a full continuum of care including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Day and Evening Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Residential Treatment, and specialized inpatient services. As part of our continued growth and commitment to expanding access to specialized care, S.L.O.W. Academy is launching an 8-bed inpatient treatment center dedicated to adolescents struggling with eating disorders. This highly structured program will provide multidisciplinary care designed specifically for adolescents, supporting both medical stabilization and long-term recovery.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Position Overview</h3>
The Part-Time Group Therapist provides structured group therapy and clinically indicated individual and family sessions within a residential treatment environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, initiative, and the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations while supporting adolescents through complex eating disorder recovery.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Facilitate daily psychoeducational and process-oriented group therapy sessions</li><li>
Conduct individual and family therapy sessions as clinically indicated</li><li>
Assess client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions</li><li>
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary</li><li>
Monitor and document client behavior, participation, and treatment progress</li><li>
Report significant clinical incidents to the Clinical Director and leadership team</li><li>
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards</li><li>
Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to support integrated care</li><li>
Uphold the mission, vision, and clinical standards of Southern Live Oak Wellness</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field</li><li>
Licensed or license-eligible in Georgia (LPC, LAPC, LMSW, or LCSW)</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment</li><li>
At least 1 year of group therapy facilitation experience</li><li>
Experience working with high-acuity populations preferred</li><li>
Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills</li><li>
CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><ul><li>
Compensation: $60,000 &ndash; $65,000 annualized equivalent (based on licensure and experience)</li><li>
