 This role will report to the General Manager. In this role you will be responsible for scheduling plant production, inventory accuracy, and managing supply chain initiatives to ensure supplier &amp; customer needs are met across two facilities.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Monitor and maintain inventory at appropriate levels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule plant production to meet customer delivery requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead a team of Shippers / Receivers, organizing personal as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Procure new sources of supply with a cost optimization mindset.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create internal work instructions and focus on continuous improvement of current procedures/processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate prices, terms and prepare comparable tables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep detailed records of quotes, purchase orders, contracts amongst others.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage multiple warehousing locations (currently on same site).
 </li>
 <li>
 Support and contribute to the Safety, Quality, &amp; Environmental System Requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and at no time is the employee or their co-workers placed in an unsafe condition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all proper information has been entered to specific channel of communication to supply chain department, including, but not limited, receiving hours, contacts, customer broker, special requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage EDI and manual sales order processing, including customer order confirmations and shipping updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward suppliers &amp; customers at all times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan shipments in advance to meet customer timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for reviewing purchase orders from customers and confirming order receipt and delivery schedule.

 Required Qualifications/Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to perform internal audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work with multiple personalities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to stay calm in during difficult conversations with clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with negotiating price and contract points an asset.
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer skill including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) and other interfaces as SharePoint, Teams/Zoom, and MS Project.

 The ability to wear required PPE
 </li>

 60% Office environment, 40% Plant Floor (PPE required)
