<div>Job Summary
The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Associate will play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy and product quality for NAPA&rsquo;s automotive parts aftermarket in the distribution center. Reporting to the ICQA Manager, the ICQA Associate will be expected to take ownership of ICQA tasks such as performing cycle counts, conducting audits, inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments using handheld scanning technology, verifying stock levels, resolving inventory discrepancies, monitoring proper storage conditions, and identifying quality issues to uphold NAPA&rsquo;s high standards. They will be expected to operate all equipment as/if needed in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards, including powered industrial trucks as/if needed. This dynamic team member will ultimately enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors, supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service through strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and seamless collaboration with warehouse teams.
Responsibilities
Inventory Control:<ul><li>
Monitor daily inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.</li><li>
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.</li><li>
Maintain detailed inventory records and ensure timely updates in the inventory management system.</li><li>
Coordinate inventory movement in warehouse and production areas to optimize stock flow.</li><li>
Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data and demand trends.</li></ul>
Quality Assurance:<ul><li>
Perform quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.</li><li>
Document and report any defects, deviations, or quality issues identified during inspections.</li><li>
Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards related to product quality and handling.</li><li>
Participate in internal audits and support external quality audits as required.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and quality control procedures.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and accurate record-keeping.</li><li>
Analytical skills to identify discrepancies, trends, and support problem resolution.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with inventory management software.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.</li><li>
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality is an asset.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
1 &ndash; 3 years of distribution center experience preferred.</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>
Proven experience performing various quality functions (inspection, control, assurance, audits).</li><li>
Passion for solving complex challenges.</li><li>
Test-and-learn mentality and agile way of working to improve team products.</li><li>
Prior Powered Industrial Equipment preferred.</li></ul>
Physical Demands / Working Environment<ul><li>
Environment: Position operates in a warehouse setting with continuous exposure to industrial noise (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, machinery, and loading activities), bright overhead lighting, and varying temperatures due to limited climate control. Employees regularly work around moving equipment and mechanical operations and must remain alert to audible and visual safety signals in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights, 60 lbs. pounds or more, depending on job duties</li><li>
Pushing and Pulling: Capability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment loaded with materials throughout the warehouse. This may involve pushing or pulling heavy loads over extended distances or up ramps.</li><li>
Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the duration of a shift. Warehouse employees need to be able to move around the warehouse facility to pick orders, stock shelves, or perform other tasks.</li><li>
Bending and Stooping: Capacity to bend, stoop, squat, and reach to retrieve items from shelves, bins, or storage racks. Employees need the ability to access items throughout the warehouse at various heights and angles.</li><li>
Climbing: Can climb ladders or stairs to access elevated storage areas or perform maintenance tasks. Warehouse employees need to have the capacity to work at heights to include open floor mezzanines and follow safety protocols for ladder use.</li><li>
Operating Equipment: Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Depending on the job role, employees must pass certification or training programs to operate certain equipment safely.</li><li>
Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to handle small objects, operate machinery controls, and perform tasks requiring precision and accuracy. This may include picking and packing items, labeling products, or assembling shipments.</li><li>
Repetitive Motion: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as scanning barcodes, sorting items, or packaging products, throughout the shift. Employees should be able to maintain productivity while performing repetitive motions safely.</li><li>
Physical Endurance: Stamina and endurance to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets. Warehouse employees need to have the capacity to work long hours, weekends, or overtime during peak periods.</li><li>
Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Employees should be vigilant about potential hazards in the warehouse environment and take appropriate precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of others.</li></ul>

<div>Position Mission:
Leads creation and maintenance of financial forecasting &amp; reporting for category-level consumption. Enhances strategic category decision making by providing accurate, timely and insightful data.
Position Performance Measures:

<li>Develop actionable dashboards with pricing and commercial KPIs and forecast to:

</ul></li><li>Build out new forecasting and reporting templates and tools to assist category team with measuring product level profitability</li>
<li>Develop end-to-end visibility into customer &amp; supplier cost-to-serve, and associated reporting &amp; tracking</li>
<li>Build next generation of sales growth AI tools to support profitable growth:
<ul><li>Develop Churn propensity models and cross sell/upsell tools to embed in sales process and whitespace identification tools
</li></ul></li><li>Measure promotional effectiveness by analyzing financial data, customer decision trees, and competitive products. Makes recommendations based on data and measures effectiveness of results.
</li><li>Provides ad hoc financial reporting and other analyses as directed.</li></ul>
Experience, Education, and Abilities:
<ul><li>Self-starter with proactive drive and ambition to perform and drive change with minimal direction &amp; coaching</li>
<li>At least 3-5 years working in a financial analyst role, ideally in a complex data environment.</li>
<li>College degree from an accredited institution (or other advanced degree in economics, mathematics, finance, marketing intelligence or business intelligence) or equivalent.</li>
<li>High level of commercial and financial acumen experience required; CFA accepted</li>
<li>Demonstrated and advanced proficiency with business intelligence tools; preferably excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)</li>
<li>Advanced experience with database systems at an enterprise level</li>
<li>Demonstrated and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, such as database management, vlookups, and pivot tables.
</li><li>Demonstrated experience with data governance projects.</li>
<li>Strong internal and external relation-building skills.</li>
