 The position requires a dynamic, detail-oriented person who can multitask. This will require strong organizational, writing, and editorial skills, as well as the ability to craft headlines, captions, tweets, posts, and other compelling short-form text. The candidate should be tech and social media savvy, a quick learner, energetic, and&nbsp;possess&nbsp;the ability to work independently and with a team. Occasional business travel may also be&nbsp;required.
 
 
 
 
 The job is writing-intensive, so a strong grasp of spelling and grammar is necessary. Applicants should be skilled writers since the position requires both original composition and content revision. Knowledge of AP style is preferred.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:&nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Regularly report, write, and post online news and analysis in various formats, including blog posts, articles, videos, research reports,&nbsp;etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Manage content production and distribution through newsletters and social media&nbsp;
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Network with industry leaders through social media and at industry events to build long-term relationships&nbsp;
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Assist&nbsp;with client-facing special projects when needed
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Serve as a key staff member during the staging of all events, performing duties as required in&nbsp;additional&nbsp;to editorial responsibilities
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Represent brand professionally in meetings, trade shows, and conferences
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Travel as needed to appropriate industry events to research/build industry knowledge and foster connections with potential authors and/or sources
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Experience, Skills and Attributes for Success:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 1 to 3 years of writing/editing/journalism experience
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Excellent writing, reporting,&nbsp;interviewing&nbsp;and editing skills
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Strong organizational and time-management skills, with&nbsp;demonstrated&nbsp;ability to meet deadlines
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Exhibit the critical thinking skills needed to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;newsworthy material
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ability to analyze macro and micro business and technology trends&nbsp;
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Excellent written and face-to-face communications skills
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Energetic, self-motivated, highly professional
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Enthusiastic attitude toward creating&nbsp;new content, driving readership, and working with a team of editors
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ability to generate and develop topic ideas for a variety of media formats
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ability to understand and&nbsp;utilize&nbsp;analytics for content development
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Strong interest in developing public speaking competency to moderate panels and conduct interviews for virtual and live events, webinars, videos, and podcasts.&nbsp;
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Understanding of digital media and marketing trends (video, audio, social media, web technology, data) a plus
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Familiarity with AP style
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience with Adobe InCopy, social media platforms, SEO, CMS, newsletter deployment preferred
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;a positive attitude
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Comfortable with using and working with various AI platforms
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Education:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Journalism, English, Writing, or related field
 
 </li>
