<div>Job Summary

During this internship, you will become an active member of the IT Service Management team, completing a wide variety of responsibilities that support our objectives of sustaining long term competitiveness and growth.

In this role you will have the opportunity to participate in supporting financial, contracting and department administration processes related to the Nassau Technology Department, including administration of current and new service agreements, software licensing, equipment purchases, asset tracking, invoice review / payment reconciliation &amp; expense reporting

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Support technology related contract renewals and required record keeping/ documentation including software licensing / service agreements, leases &amp; equipment purchases</li>
<li>Update contracting and software management databases with relevant data; obtain documentation as needed</li>
<li>Prepare various reports related to spending and contracting terms and conditions</li>
<li>Review invoices to ensuring accuracy / alignment with contracted pricing; timeliness of payment delivery; review errors with management; investigate / resolve as directed</li>
<li>Participate / support other initiatives as needed</li>
<li>Must maintain appropriate attendance.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Applicants should be pursuing a degree in FinTech, Business Management, Finance/Accounting, Auditing, or another related field</li>
<li>Possess proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with all levels of Nassau management as well as external partners / suppliers.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Ability to collaborate effectively, working as a member of a team or independently</li>
<li>Self-starter that is not afraid to ask questions</li>
<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Able to independently recognize and analyze complex data</li>
<li>Skill in developing detailed reports / documentation</li>
<li>Possess critical thinking / problem solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to drive projects to completion</li>
<li>Ability to use various applications/software (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Peoplesoft)</li>
<li>Position will be in Hartford CT office</li>
