Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis with potential to be permanent. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive treatment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.</li><li>Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.</li><li>Assist in the management of patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.</li><li>Collaborate with the dental team to provide support during general dentistry procedures.</li><li>Stay updated on medical terminology and coding relevant to dental practices.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental clinic.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.</li><li>Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Proficiency in patient assessment skills and familiarity with vital signs monitoring.</li><li>Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.</li><li>Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical coding is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on comfort and education.</li></ul>Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hourSchedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li></ul>Work Location: In person
