National Inventors Hall of Fame

<div><div>The Social Media Intern will support the National Inventors Hall of Fame&reg; and Camp Invention&reg; social media channels by assisting with organic content scheduling, monitoring and responding to public comments and DMs, project management and contributing to content ideation.</div>
<div></div><div>Duration: 10 Weeks (May &ndash; July), 20 hours per week.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Schedule organic social media posts for the National Inventors Hall of Fame and Camp Invention utilizing Hootsuite</li>
<li>Monitor and respond to public-facing social media comments</li>
<li>Work with the Customer Relations Team to ensure proper response time to DMs</li>
<li>Monitor Camp Invention Facebook, Instagram and X for user-generated content. Replying to posts and requesting permission to utilize the content, as needed.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Creative Team to project manage assets for social media posts</li>
<li>Collaborate with Digital Marketing Coordinator on content ideas</li>
<li>Support photo/video shoots at local Camp Invention programs</li>
<li>Ability to regularly work in the office and attend in-person meetings</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively via email, chat, phone, and in-person meetings</li>
<li>Requires regular, reliable, and on-time attendance</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><div><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field (preferred)</li>
<li>Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X for business use</li>
<li>Experience with Hootsuite is a plus</li>
<li>Strong time management, attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Professionalism when engaging with audiences. Customer service experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal</li>
<li>Self-motivated, creative and eager to learn and take on new challenges</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects at a time</li>
<li>Energetic and passionate about social media</li>
