Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.25/hour (Final offer based on candidate's experience and culinary skills)

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Applies comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety, and sanitation</li>
<li>Prepares hot entrees, soups, vegetables, and accompaniments for various dining areas</li>
<li>Follows recipes and preparation sheets to ensure quality and presentation</li>
<li>Completes advance prep, food temperature checks, and tasting for each meal</li>
<li>Maintains accurate preparation records and stores food properly</li>
<li>Cleans work area and equipment after use</li>
<li>Follows proper lifting, bending, and safety procedures</li>
<li>Assists with fire safety and emergency evacuation as needed</li>
<li>Cooperates with other departments and maintains a clean, safe environment</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For:

<li>Experience in cooking, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting</li>
<li>Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices</li>
<li>Attention to detail and a passion for preparing great food</li>
<li>Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively</li>
<li>Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude</li>
<li>Must be able to speak and read in English</li>
