What you will do:
<ul>
<li>Perform patient check in/out procedures, to include entering demographic/insurance information into an EMR system, collecting any outstanding copays/balances</li>
<li>Work with patients, insurance companies, and providers to maintain demographic information, obtain proper authorizations,</li>
<li>Prepare charts for upcoming appointments and process medical records requests in an efficient manner.</li>
</ul>
We require the following:
</div>
<div><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.</li>
<li>Minimum of one (1) year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.</li>
<li>Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, required.</li>
<li>Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics, strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.</li>
<li>Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.</li>

<ul>
<li>Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays)</li>
<li>Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm</li>
<li>Responsibilities: front and back office</li>
</ul>

Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Anticipate and support the needs and preferences of the Provider(s) and patients by managing daily patient flow and acting as a constant liaison between the Provider(s) and patients.</li>
<li>Monitor clinical messages by effectively communicating information to the Provider(s) and relaying associated responses back to patients.</li>
<li>Organize, clean, and prepare exam, procedure, and recovery rooms before and after each patient.</li>
<li>Take and record patients' vitals, noting any changes or areas of concern.</li>
<li>Complete documentation for patient charts by obtaining diagnostic studies (e.g., labs, X-rays, path reports, etc.); reviewing current medications, dosage, and dosage schedule; noting any allergies; and recording Provider(s') orders and prescriptions.</li>
<li>Provide patients with any needed discharge/follow-up instructions, educational brochures, and dietary requirements</li>
</ul>

Job Requirements:

<div><ul><li>A high school degree or equivalent education and training</li>
<li>Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred OR a minimum of two (2) years of clinical Medical Assisting experience</li>
<li>CMA/RMA certification preferred</li>
<li>Experience with electronic medical records</li>
<li>The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity</li></ul>
