We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial HVAC projects for projects and clients throughout the country.Company OverviewNational TAB Intelligence (NTi) is a NEBB Certified national test and balancing company. The company&rsquo;s partnership we have with our associates is a key ingredient to serving our clients!Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review daily incoming bids to determine appropriate jobs or clients for the estimating team to prepare for quotation.</li><li>Analyze blueprints, specifications, drawings, and other project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for the Testing &amp; Balancing, Duct leak testing, Commissioning, IAQ and other testing classifications in the commercial HVAC systems.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, sales teams, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure estimates align with project scope and client expectations.</li><li>Prepare and proposals, bids, and quotes in a timely manner for specific regional divisions of the company.</li><li>Maintain and update CRM (Pipedrive) and excel databases, historical pricing, and estimating tools for accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Actively participate in bid reviews and strategy sessions.</li><li>Proactively reach out to clients, general contractors, architects, and vendors &mdash; both verbally (phone calls, meetings) and electronically (email, follow-ups) &mdash; to clarify project details, build relationships, and secure opportunities or potential new clients to bid project(s) too.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience as an HVAC Estimator or in a related role within the commercial HVAC/mechanical contracting industry.</li><li>Understanding of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, installation practices, and industry standards.</li><li>Excellent communication skills &mdash; must be comfortable and confident initiating outreach to clients, contractors, and team members via phone, email, and in-person discussions.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel); experience with estimating software (e.g., AutoBid, QuickPen, Trimble, or similar) is a plus.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.</li><li>Detail-oriented with analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.</li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off &mdash; details provided upon interview).</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive team environment.</li></ul>If you have a passion for the commercial HVAC industry, strong estimating skills, and enjoy building client relationships through proactive communication, we want to hear from you!Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What is your approximate salary requirement if hired by National TAB Intelligence?</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Cincinnati, OH 45246 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
