Texas Allergy Group is looking for a part-time medical assistant. No medical experience is required although preferred. This position is ideal for a Pre-Med or Pre-Nursing student who is looking to gain experience and exposure in the medical field. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and takes initiative.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Helping with front desk tasks such as booking appointments and verifying patient insurance eligibility-Prepare patients for examinations and procedures- Take and record vital signs- Administer injections, allergy skin testing, and medications as directed by healthcare providers-Perform pulmonary lung function testing on patient- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsApplicant must be able to speak Vietnamese or Spanish.Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hourWork Location: In person
