 JOB PURPOSE:
 
 
 
 The purpose of this role is to be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating SUDs Prevention programs conducted by Naufar Center. Prevention specialist engages with individuals, families, and communities to raise awareness, promote healthy behaviors, and reduce risk factors that contribute to substance use. This role involves collaboration with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to create supportive environments that foster resilience and well-being.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and implement evidence-based prevention programs tailored to various populations, including youth, adults, and at-risk groups.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage in outreach activities to educate the public on the risks of substance use, deliver presentations, workshops, and educational materials for SUDs awareness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct assessments to identify risk factors for substance use disorder in individuals, families, and communities and contribute to development interventions to reduce these risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with stakeholders such as schools, healthcare organizations, law enforcement, and other community stakeholders to promote substance use prevention strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up and track the effectiveness of implemented prevention programs through data collection, analysis, and reporting and make a necessary adjustment programs based on feedback and outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Suggest policies, procedures and practices that support prevention efforts and reduce access to drugs and substances and stay updated on legislation and policy changes related to SUD.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support and referral services to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder, assisting them access treatment resources as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare detailed reports on prevention programs and initiatives, activities, implementation progress, address challenges and present outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Increases knowledge through the provision of evidence-based health information as appropriate by providing people with correct information related to SUD.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leads and organize health promotion initiatives and health awareness campaigns on SUDs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders through appropriate marketing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops educational materials (school posters, pamphlets, etc. and participates on developing educational materials (street posters, Media health programs etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Actively involves in developing national health strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates on national awareness campaigns and serves as a resource person for health and wellness education and promotion.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts learning needs assessment to identify education gaps and participates in screening campaigns to increase public awareness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plans and implements health and wellness education programs, evaluates the effectiveness of the education programs, and documents the programs in the organization records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates in conducting research related to health and wellness education and promotion and develops appropriate data collection methodology, i.e., surveys, questionnaires etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consults with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient&rsquo;s specific clinical and health related health issues and education needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates in multi &ndash; disciplinary care teams and committees and promotes and advocates for evidence-based education.
 </li>

 Educational Responsibilities:

 Attend Naufar's mandatory training courses and specific training courses relevant to a certain scope of practice as supervisor nominates and work need requirements.

 Participate in internal or external educational activities programs, meetings, and workshops to enhance professional development as supervisor nominates.
 </li>

 Fulfil continuing professional development requirements and participate in relevant learning opportunities like conferences or seminars to enhance personal expertise and apply that expertise to providing continuous quality improvement of patient care at Naufar Centre.

 QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Public Health with the major in Health Education.
 </li>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s degree in public health, behavioral health, sociology, or a related specialty.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Licensure / Certification:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Eligible for license from the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar for Health and Wellness Educator Scope.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid Primary license from the country of origin (if applicable).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree holders. (6) years of clinical work experience in healthcare setting out of which: (2) years&rsquo; experience in relevant clinical service certified in Health Education &amp; (1) year relevant experience to community health, behavioral health, or substance use prevention programs or Mental Health services.

 Basic Functions
 
 
 
 The Primary Nurse provides individualized nursing care, according to treatment plans, to best meet patient needs. Duties include but are not limited to: administering medications, monitoring patients for effects of treatment, collaborating with multidisciplinary team, providing screening and observations, recording patient observations and therapeutic interventions. The Primary Nurse works as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence based, primary nursing services at the highest level of professional and quality standards.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 Provide nursing care services according to instructions from Nurse-in-charge of shift including following up treatment plans, to best meet Patient&rsquo;s needs.

 Prepare rooms for new admissions to properly welcome Patients.

 Clean and assist prepare medical equipment/areas according to clinical standards.
 </li>

 Greet newly admitted Patients upon admission and escort them to their rooms to deliver a high level of hospitality.

 Take notes about the care services being provided and the Patients&rsquo; responses to the care, to feedback to the Nursing Supervisor to make appropriate service improvement decisions.

 To take responsibility for the procurement and/or establishment and activation of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department to meet the construction program and facilities hand over schedule. To develop all facilities operations and maintenance policies, procedures, practices and work instructions and put resources and contracts in place to meet these requirements.
 
 
 To identify, receive and approve all manuals and other documentation as required before or immediately following contract completion. To ensure the effective implementation of, and on-going compliance with, Organizational Policies and procedures as they relate to the operation and maintenance of the facility.  Assist the Director General and Director &ndash; Development to guide and manage project&rsquo;s development from conceptualization to completion as Operator&rsquo;s representative.

 FF&amp;E Procurement and Supervision
 
 
 <ul>

 Coordinate the FF&amp;E purchasing within the overall project timetable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain FF&amp;E documentation and version tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist and support in the research of local and international marketplace where required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Co-ordinate operationally related works with FF&amp;E requirements and installations and coordinate with Project Managers, Architects and Engineers, Interior Design consultants.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review bidders&rsquo; technical specifications, shop drawings, and supporting documents to monitor compliance with contract award conditions and or local legislation and minimum standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide assistance in selection of FF&amp;E items that require prototype approval prior to manufacture.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with prototype inspection and report, monitor progress of preceding works and conduct delivery program review to advise all stakeholders of delivery, installation/circulation requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review of deliveries, conduct item and documentary checks to ensure deliveries are in accordance with approved purchase contract documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Co-ordinate incoming inspection on all installed FF&amp;E items and provide report on variances from approved purchase contract documentation, deficiencies, and defects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish an effective inventory recording system.
 </li>
