Job Description 
ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Director for our Global Streaming Tech and Product HR team. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, you will be a trusted partner working closely with Senior Leaders on culture, organizational design, performance, and the hiring &amp; development of talent.
You will create HR programs which enable and support the businesses strategic plans. You will be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership, advice, coaching and guidance to the HR team, business leaders and employees, delivering a first-class HR service and proactively engaging on all people-related activities.
Whilst managing the US Global Streaming HR team, this role will partner closely with HR Partners and business leaders across the US, United Kingdom and Europe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR &amp; Planning<ul><li>

Utilize the employee data from HRIS to inform and drive tailored employee experiences. Identify trends which can inform the People strategy and influence leadership decisions.</li><li>
Lead and manage the US based HR team, supporting their engagement, growth &amp; development.</li><li>

Talent Management &amp; Recruitment
<ul><li>Drive the talent identification, management, and succession planning of talent across the business.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal HR partners and the Talent Development team to create growth and development opportunities for our employees.</li><li>
Identify training needs and deliver appropriate solutions.</li><li>
Provide coaching to employees &amp; managers, offering feedback and advice on issues in a proactive and compassionate manner.</li><li>
When required, assist in the hiring of talent, working in partnership with the hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team.</li><li>
Oversee the delivery of all administration, process &amp; contracts through the HR systems and team ensuring accuracy and fast execution to create a positive candidate experience.</li><li>

Employee Relations<ul><li>
Lead on complex Employee Relations cases, providing clear and directive actions to resolve situations in a timely manner.</li><li>
Provide support, advice, and guidance to your HR team on all employee relation cases where required; be aware of ongoing cases and potential escalations.</li><li>
Track and identify trends with ER cases and create strategies to avoid repeat situations</li><li>
Manage and communicate HR policies; develop and implement HR practices and procedures aligned to meet the needs of the business. Ensure compliance with relevant local laws.</li><li>
Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment which encourages the full use of the organization&rsquo;s talents and abilities.</li><li>
Oversee the creation and execution of Employee Survey action plans and engagement and communications activities.</li><li>
Be trusted by the business to provide expert advice, coaching, and thought leadership.</li><li>
Partner with Employment Law and other internal HR partners to resolve situations.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
Skills and Experience:<ul><li>
7+ years of professional HR experience</li><li>
Solid HR Director or similar level with experience of building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>
Demonstrates leadership competence in driving culture change, coaching and development.</li><li>
Experience of organizational design and execution of change.</li><li>

Primary focus 
The focus of the Commerce Product Design Team is on the user experience for people who are purchasing and/or managing their streaming subscriptions. What you will be doing:<ul><li>
Writing, designing, and editing/updating copy that makes our global streaming commerce experience feel easy to understand and use. This includes offers, plan descriptions, transactional emails, CTAs, in-product messaging, notifications and error messages, FAQs, draft UX-friendly legal disclaimers/disclosures, and other touchpoints.</li><li>
Collaborating with product owners, designers, researchers, marketing, legal, data science, and/or engineering to successfully deliver products to market.</li><li>
Fulfilling or consulting on daily &ldquo;short-order requests&rdquo; and quick turnarounds as well as influencing messaging strategy, narrative, product flows and decisions, interface language, nomenclature, and other content for top initiatives and long-term iterations.</li><li>
Maintaining and helping scale accurate, consistent wording across a variety of contexts&mdash;including UI components&mdash;for different user cohorts, as well as auditing existing language and documenting content patterns for team reference.</li><li>
Building rapport with other teams to improve consistency across the end-to-end customer experience.</li><li>
Understanding and advocating for people who use our products&mdash;as well as the craft of content design itself.</li><li>

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
A true love of words and wordsmithing.</li><li>
Operational knowledge, training, and expertise in UX design, design thinking, product design, and/or web production/development.</li><li>
A writing portfolio reflecting relevant experience, including shipped and currently in-market products, and demonstrating end-to-end design methodology.</li><li>
Experience and comfort working and collaborating in Figma.</li><li>
Ability to use a CMS, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, collaboration and/or prototyping tools.</li><li>
Experience writing for UX/UI (digital experiences, interactions, complex workflows, or software products), e-commerce, and/or subscription-based marketing.</li><li>
At least 3 years of experience in the field as a UX writer/content designer for digital products.</li></ul>
Preferred Experience<ul><li>
BA in journalism, writing, liberal arts, design, or equivalent relevant education, certification, and/or professional experience preferred.</li><li>
Experience working with marketing, legal, and global translation/localization teams also preferred.</li><li>
Experience with corporate teams, design systems, rapid deployment and/or experimentation (metrics, analytics, A/B testing, user testing, and/or market research), and/or AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) a plus.</li></ul>
