Fleet &amp; Maintenance Supervisor &ndash; Job Description Position SummaryThe Fleet &amp; Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of the company&rsquo;s vehicle fleet. This role combines technical oversight with team leadership, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced efficiently, comply with regulations, and support uninterrupted business operations.Key Responsibilities Fleet Oversight<ul><li>Supervise daily fleet operations and vehicle assignments</li><li>Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle performance</li><li>Coordinate vehicle inspections, registrations, and insurance renewals</li></ul>Maintenance Management<ul><li>Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs</li><li>Manage emergency breakdowns and roadside assistance</li><li>Maintain accurate records of service intervals, part replacements, and tire rotations</li></ul>Team Supervision<ul><li>Lead a team of mechanics and technicians</li><li>Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards</li><li>Train staff on safety procedures and maintenance best practices</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Ensure adherence to local and federal safety regulations</li><li>Analyze maintenance costs and recommend fleet upgrades or replacements</li><li>Prepare reports on fleet utilization, downtime, and cost efficiency</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Vendor Coordination<ul><li>Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services</li><li>Track procurement and usage of maintenance supplies</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or degree in Logistics, Automotive Technology, or related field</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in fleet maintenance or transport operations</li><li>Strong leadership and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office</li><li>Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and safety standards</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
