A wonderful, kind-hearted family in the Kaukauna area is seeking a caregiver for their 16-year-old son, who has intellectual disabilities. The caregiver in this position would help this young boy with mentoring, along with taking him to fun community activities.Location:- Kaukauna WI,Schedule:* Part-time Hours 15-30 hours a week* Monday-Saturday Flexible schedulePay:&middot; $17.98Job Duties:- Clean, organize, and maintain a child&rsquo;s bedroom.- Spot clean bathroom (surface cleaning, take out garbage, replace toilet paper, etc.)- Provide transportation to and from outings.- Engage in de-escalating tactics as needed.- Provide 1:1 supervision.Families Requirements:- Driver's license- Reliable vehicle- willing to use personal vehicle to provide transportation (local travel only).- Experience working with adults or children with complex needs (Mental health, Developmental disabilities, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Etc.)- Willingness to learn and accept coaching.- Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiving Background Check.- Proven dependability.- Committed to providing care for children and adults with special needs.(Please note that this is a cat-friendly and dog-friendly home. There are also various caged critters in the home.
