NMM is seeking a talented and highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to further develop and scale its unique web-based data analytics platform. NMM provides a powerful AI software suite (based on machine learning and deep learning), to global corporate customers in the chemical and refining industry &ndash; with the mission to improve reliability, and minimize failures and losses. Within our engineering team, your voice will be a valuable asset to product development.In this role, you will be responsible for further development of NMM&rsquo;s flagship products as well as their accompanying deployment and support utilities &ndash; from concept to maturity. You will be in a unique position to collaborate with fellow developers and management and undertake technical development of the software across its entire stack. You will enjoy an intellectually creative atmosphere as you work with an experienced and enthusiastic team to help build and deliver a robust, reliable software system.ResponsibilitiesThe role is focused on React front-end development, with the opportunity to contribute to the Python back-end from time to time. Additional responsibilities include assisting with determining the higher-level design of the system as a whole to meet both business and technological needs.Required Qualifications<ul><li>BS or MS Computer Science, or equivalent</li><li>1+ years of experience in React.js</li><li>1+ years of software engineering experience, Python preferred</li><li>Proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript preferred)</li><li>Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MongoDB/DocumentDB)</li><li>Strong proficiency in React (with TypeScript), including hooks and component composition</li><li>Ability to comfortably manage version control using Git</li></ul>Desired Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with Numpy and Pandas</li><li>Experience working with ETL pipelines</li><li>Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS</li><li>Comfortable with Linux systems, CLI tools, and shell scripting.</li><li>Experience with modern state management (Zustand, Jotai, Redux Toolkit, or equivalent)</li><li>Familiarity with server-state libraries such as TanStack Query (React Query)</li><li>Comfortable with data-heavy UIs: rendering large datasets efficiently (virtualized lists, charts, infinite scrolling).</li><li>Experience with styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS (preferred), Radix UI, or similar component libraries.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive base salary with an excellent compensation program</li><li>Healthcare contribution, 401k contribution</li><li>Flexible office environment in a central location (Center City, Philadelphia)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>JavaScript: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>React: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Philadelphia, PA 19103 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Philadelphia, PA 19103: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
