Junior Accountant

We're looking for a Finance Manager that will oversee the finance function of a dedicated technology subsidiary within the Group, providing tailored financial support to the business while ensuring alignment with group-wide policies. This role requires strong experience within technology or platform-based companies, with expertise in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial structuring specific to the tech sector. The Finance Manager will play a key role in shaping the financial framework around pricing models, costing structures, intercompany recharges, and the development of intellectual property (IP) strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management &amp; Reporting

<ul>
<li>Oversee the subsidiary s end-to-end finance function, including bookkeeping, accounting, and monthly closing processes.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, aligned with group accounting policies and IFRS standards.</li>
<li>Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts, providing clear insights into the subsidiary s financial performance.</li>
<li>Act as the primary finance point of contact for the subsidiary, ensuring transparency and accountability.</li>
</ul>

Business Structuring &amp; Pricing

<ul>
<li>Partner with leadership to design and implement pricing models for tech solutions and platform offerings.</li>
<li>Develop costing methodologies to ensure sustainable margins and competitive positioning.</li>
<li>Create frameworks for intercompany recharge models within the Group, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance.</li>
<li>Ensuring correct treatment of intellectual property (IP) by advising on capitalization, amortization, and value recognition.</li>
</ul>

Controls &amp; Compliance

<ul>
<li>Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with statutory and group requirements.</li>
<li>Apply knowledge of international taxation laws to support cross-border transactions, intercompany arrangements, and Group structuring.</li>
<li>Manage audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth reviews.</li>
<li>Implement finance systems and processes suitable for a technology-driven business model.</li>
</ul>

Stakeholder Collaboration

<ul>
<li>Work closely with and Group Finance to design scalable finance structures for the subsidiary.</li>
<li>Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth.</li>
<li>Liaise with operational teams to align financial strategies with commercial goals.</li>
</ul>

Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist the sales team by preparing sales proposals, presentations, and quotations</li>
<li>Establish clear communication channels with the sales team to ensure seamless exchange of information</li>
<li>Prepare and process sales orders, invoices, and other relevant documentation</li>
<li>Support the internal teams in managing customer accounts during contract renewals &amp; pricing negotiations</li>
<li>Coordinate and communicate with customers to gather necessary information, answer inquiries, and provide updates on shipments, rates, and services</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal departments including operations, commercial and customer service</li>
<li>Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, customer profiles, and sales activity reports using CRM software and other tools.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and maintain a comprehensive reporting system to track and analyze sales profitability, margins, quotations, and other sales related metrics</li>
<li>Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights that contribute to sales strategies and pricing decisions</li>
</ul>
