 We welcome applications from experienced Medical Assistants (CNA certification, a Medical Assistant degree or relevant related training), and those who have no prior training or experience.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll join our paid Medical Assistant Training Program which is a career path into the healthcare field! You&rsquo;ll be paid while you learn through a three-week program that includes classroom instruction, coursework, clinical shadowing, and onboarding. After successful completion of the program you&rsquo;ll become a medical assistant tier I, with the opportunity to advance to other tiers within the first year.
 
 
 
 About The Role
 
 
 
 As a Medical Assistant, you&rsquo;ll welcome patients into the clinical area and prepare them for their visits with providers. You&rsquo;ll use your logic and critical thinking abilities, good judgement, and interpersonal skills as you work with our patient population. Attention to detail is a high priority as you observe and receive patient information. You&rsquo;ll build rapport with providers and other staff, and work together to ensure each patient has positive interactions at Neighborhood. Essential duties include:

 Carries out customer service through rooming patients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists the providers with data collection, flow of day, assisting throughout the visit and acts as a member of the care team
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare for each clinical day through a schedule review and provider huddle

 As a Front Desk Coordinator, you&rsquo;ll have an important role in the patient experience at Neighborhood.
 
 
 
 About The Role
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll have responsibilities that include patient intake, checkout, and assisting the Practice Managers in monitoring patient flow and work quality.

 Carries out front desk customer service and coordination of front desk staff assignments
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates patient registration, check-in, and check-out
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiates escalation plan when customer service issues arise
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares staff schedules and updates timecards in support of Assistant Practice Manager
 
 
 </li>

 Hourly Rate:
 
 $22.25 per hour based on a full-time, 40 hour work week.
 
 
 You will be primarily based at our Mattina location, 300 Niagara St. in Buffalo.

 As a dental assistant, you&rsquo;ll have an important role in creating a positive experience for patients at Neighborhood.
 
 
 
 About The Role
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll take a lead role in welcoming and assisting patients with kindness while collaborating with other dental assistants to ensure efficient patient flow. You&rsquo;ll use your knowledge and attention to detail as you work with x-rays, molds, and preparing lab scripts for dentists. Responsibilities include:
 
 
 <ul>

 Set up and operate dental/medical equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Take digital radiographs, periapical, bitewing, and panoral x-rays
 </li>
 <li>
 Pour plaster models
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up and break down operatories for each procedure of the day
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform procedures for removal, cleansing, sterilization, and packaging of dental instruments following proper clinical protocols
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare lab scripts for dentists, package cases, and call dental lab for pick up
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains patient treatment records per clinic protocols in Electronic Dental Record
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Hourly Rate:
