<div>Nemours Children's Health and Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida are seeking a part-time dynamic pediatric endocrinologist to provide care to children and adolescents with endocrine disorders. This role offers an opportunity to drive excellence in clinical care, research, and education for children in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities 
 
<ul><li>Provide expert, evidence-based outpatient and outpatient clinical care for pediatric endocrinology patients.</li><li>
Collaborate with the endocrinology team, including clinic nurses, diabetes educators, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.</li><li>
Participate in educational initiatives for medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric endocrinology.</li><li>
Participate in quality improvement programs aimed at ensuring excellent patient- and family-centered treatment.</li></ul>
Qualifications 
 
<ul><li>Medical degree (MD or DO).</li><li>
Board certified or board eligible in pediatric endocrinology.</li><li>
Eligible for or has an active Florida medical license.</li><li>
Interest in quality improvement and safety.</li><li>
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.</li><li>
Passion for advancing pediatric endocrinology care through education, research, and community engagement.</li></ul>

<div>Research-Intern Position 
 
Nemours is seeking a Research Intern to join Neonatal Brain Injury Lab under Dr Wright-Jin at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE. 
 
This Research Intern position is responsible for
 
 
Gathers data to meet specific project objectives by using various informational sources. 
<ul><li>Demonstrates skill in oral and written communication.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Learns a develops skills in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understands and demonstrates ability in using computers and related software on projects.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Learns and uses data analysis and problem-solving methods and skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrates planning and organizing ability.</li></ul>
 
Ability to establish databases to maintain or track data. 
 
Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor. 
 
Assist in the preparation and aliquot reagents according to laboratory SOP's. 
 
Under supervision perform DNA/RNA extraction and perform proteomics.

Intern, Research

<div>The Continuous Improvement Specialist II provides continuous improvement support to Nemours by functioning as an analyst, facilitator, consultant and/or project manager as required. This individual will work throughout the system with a broad range of stakeholder groups, focusing on clinical, operational and enterprise systems areas. This work includes leading larger scale continuous improvement work such as value stream mapping (VSM), clinical standard work development and strategy/goal deployment.
Position Responsibilities 
 
<ul><li>Facilitates, guides, and supports enterprise, departmental, or cross-departmental continuous improvement work as directed by executive leadership. This encompasses preparation and planning for workshops and value stream/model lines, implementation, and periodic audits of the work completed</li><li>
Participates in tactical planning for the continuous improvement work to be done in concert with Nemours leadership. Develops, maintains, and revises work plans as needed. Monitors outcomes. Integrates work with other departmental initiatives and revises as needed</li><li>
Contributes to the development of standard work</li><li>
Researches and identifies relative benchmarks to be used in the establishment of daily management measures to ensure compliance with standard work</li><li>
Assists Nemours leadership to develop proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and approaches. Provides formal continuous improvement training as well as serving as an educational resource and consultant</li><li>
Uses knowledge of waste elimination tools and techniques to identify clinical and operational opportunities for improvement</li><li>
Assists in the development and refinement of continuous improvement training programs and materials</li><li>
Assures adherence to continuous improvement standards and methodologies across the enterprise</li></ul> 
Position Requirements
 
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree required.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of lean management systems, tools, and methodologies and demonstrated coaching/mentoring of individuals to conduct workshops independently</li><li>
Healthcare experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in lean facilitation, mindset, management system &amp; methods.</li></ul>

Continuous Improvement Specialist II

<div>The Nemours Children's Cardiac Center seeks a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join the Division of Cardiac Critical Care at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.
The ideal candidate should be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiology with additional training in cardiac critical care. This position includes an academic appointment at the Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College at a rank commensurate with experience and performance.
Cardiac critical care intensivists are central members to our integrated practice unit comprised of an interdisciplinary team of cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, interventional cardiologists, adult congenital cardiologists, cardiac psychologists, cardiovascular geneticists, advanced practice providers, and cardiac nurses to combine experience and expertise across specialties to deliver the best possible care. Our center is in a dedicated physical plant consisting of a 20-bed cardiac ICU, a 15-bed Inpatient Unit, a Pre- and Post-Procedure Unit, a dedicated cardiac OR and two catheterization labs, all within close proximity to each other.
Nemours Cardiac Center personnel function within a unique organizational structure, which, in addition to providing high value (quality/cost) care, results in a high level of satisfaction for patients, their families and the Center's health care team. Nemours Cardiac Center offers a full range of care for nearly every pediatric heart and vascular condition. Our intensivists care for a broad spectrum of congenital and acquired heart disease including those requiring complex neonatal cardiac repairs, mechanical support (ECMO, VAD's), cardiac transplantation, chest and airway surgeries, and innovative lymphatic procedures.
