</b></p><p>The Triage Nurse role provides provide primary care patients telephone access to a highly skilled and trained registered nurse who accurately answers their questions and addresses their medical concerns during hours when the primary care offices are open. To provide first line response to patient questions and concerns with escalation to the primary care offices when necessary. To ensure continuity of care, communicates the patient&rsquo;s condition and plan of care to other health team members.
</p><p><b>Essential Functions:
</b></p><div><ul><li>Accurately assesses each patient&rsquo;s condition by actively listening to callers and asking probative questions. Identifies emergent situations and effectively transfers life threatening calls to appropriate agencies per protocol.

</li></ul><ul><li>Appropriately and accurately documents initial and ongoing telephone conversations with documentation being completed immediately after the call ends.

</li></ul><ul><li>Meets the needs of the department by flexing hours as needed based on seasonal changes and call volume. This may include morning, evening, weekend, and midnight shifts.

</b></p><p>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree strongly preferred. Associates Degree prepared candidates must be actively enrolled in a BSN program.
</p><p>Upon hire, the Kids Health On Call nurse must have an active unrestricted Delaware Registered Nurse license to start. Active Pennsylvania and Florida Registered Nurse Licenses must be obtained within 90 days of hire date. BLS from American Heart Association required for all nursing roles.
</p><ul><li>Nurses residing in an interstate compact state (DE, NJ or MD) who have a multistate license for their state of residence will not need to obtain separate PA or FL licensure. Nurses residing in PA will continue to require separate DE and FL licensure until PA begins full participation in the interstate compact. The KHOC associate must not work autonomously until all licensure is obtained and verified- they can shadow and train with a KHOC preceptor, but cannot provide medical advice for patients receiving primary care services in states for which the associate has not yet obtained licensure.

Telephone Triage Nurse-Care on Call

<div><p>Nemours is seeking a Patient Services Specialist II (Primary Care, Sanford), FULL-TIME, to join our Primary Care team in Sanford, Florida.

Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families in Central Florida. With 20 primary care and three urgent care practices conveniently located throughout the region, we provide quality, professional pediatric services with special attention on preventive care and whole-child wellness.
</p><p>This position is responsible for: To perform as a customer service representative for assigned divisions accurately obtaining and entering all essential information needed to complete registration and scheduling processes following standard business practices. Provide service to internal and external customers as a member of the clinic team.
</p><ul><li>Customer service: answer phone lines in a prompt and courteous manner, triage call and handle appropriately.
</li><li>Registration: collect, maintain and ensure accuracy of information through the use of standard business practices.
</li><li>Coordinate all necessary paperwork for registration, scheduling, and appointment.
</li><li>Financial: collect, verify and maintain patient insurance information, including authorizations and referrals.
</li><li>Collect co- pays, deductible, co-insurance and balances on accounts. End of day balancing.

Scan incoming mailed and faxed patient results into EMR and task the physician responsible for reviewing OR place information with patient chart and for provider to review. Check in and checkout patients in office.
</li><li>Coordinates the release of information and medical record process. Process all incoming and outgoing medical record requests.
</li><li>Ensures coding information is complete on billing documents.

<div><p>Nemours is seeking an Orthopedic Scribe (Full-Time, Temp), to join our team in Melbourne or Orlando, Florida.
</p><p><b>Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Must be able to travel to our Melbourn Clinic 3 - 4 days a week based on business needs.
</b></p><p><b>Primarily based in the Melbourne Clinic with an additional 1 - 2 days of potential travel to other Central Florida satellite locations including Nemours Children's Hospital.
</b></p><p>The Orthopedic Scribe serves to document patient/parent/guardian information during a clinical visit/encounter as directed by the Orthopedic provider, providing real-time charting by shadowing in the clinic. The Orthopedic Scribe possesses skills, knowledge, and experience specifically within Orthopedics. Tasks for this role include, but not limited to, patient data collection, preparing patient for provider visit, and assisting provider as needed. The role may also be required to assist with appointment check-in, check-out, or scheduling to help support clinic flow as needed or instructed by their manager or the Orthopedic provider to which they are assigned.

Orthopedic Scribe - Temp (CASUAL)

<div><p><b>Nemours is seeking an Imaging Informatics Associate Analyst (Cardiology), Full-Time, to join our Nemours Children's Heath team in Orlando, Florida
</b></p><p>Position requires on site presence at Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida for the first 90 days followed by ongoing 2-3 days per week depending on customer needs. Qualified applicants should have experience with PACS, DICOM, HL7, and imaging informatics workflows.
</p><p>This position is responsible for providing direct support to end users in the efficient and accurate utilization of IS Imaging Informatics applications and the electronic medical record as it relates to imaging. Associate Analysts participate in building, testing and validating of new functionality and engaging in custom configuration activities. Associate Analysts perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with clinical applications. The Associate Analyst should have the ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and optimization activities designed to create more knowledgeable end users. The role of this position includes acting as a change agent, educator and resource in advancing the strategic mission of Nemours, while advancing knowledge and avoidance of data and systems integrity risks.

</b></p><p>The Access Specialist II communicates with patients/providers via telephone to ensure accurate, prompt and courteous scheduling of specialty appointments according to established division guidelines. This position is responsible for obtaining and entering accurate demographic and insurance information for all encounters. The Access Specialist II is required to discuss financial obligations with patient families and collect when appropriate.
</p><p>The Access Specialist II is responsible for monitoring registration and insurance related items that fall into patient work queues to ensure timely claim filing. This role works collaboratively with medical secretaries and department managers to ensure all patients' access needs are met. The Access Specialist II is required to provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers, and represent Nemours in a positive, professional manner.
