Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Assist in updating and generating new Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance process documentation and data systems.</li><li>
Assist with developing and participating in training for manufacturing personnel</li><li>
Revise Standard Operation and Manufacturing Procedures to capture all necessary process, product, and regulatory requirements</li><li>
Assist in developing and managing engineering changes</li><li>
Participates in capital requisition proposals and projects</li><li>
Maintains process maps and value stream maps</li><li>
Assists with complaint investigations and resolution</li><li>
Assists with developing rework protocols where appropriate</li><li>
Participates in maintaining appropriate work environmental conditions and recommends facilities modifications where appropriate</li><li>

Education and/or Experience</div><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field preferred (Industrial Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.) Relevant associate&rsquo;s degree and greater than five years relevant work experience, or no education and greater than ten years relevant work experience.</div><div></div><div>

The Labor Relations Generalist supports the HR function at our manufacturing facilities by managing labor relations activities, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and fostering positive employee-management relationships. This role is critical to maintaining workforce stability, minimizing disputes, and supporting operational efficiency.</div><div></div><div>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Labor Relations Support<ul><li>
Assist in negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements.</li><li>
Interpret and advise management on contract provisions.</li><li>
Handle grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions in line with union agreements.</li><li>
Maintain positive relationships with union representatives and employees.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Union Avoidance Strategies<ul><li>
Partner with senior leadership to develop proactive employee relations programs that reduce the likelihood of union organizing.</li><li>
Train managers and supervisors on effective communication, fair treatment, and compliance practices that foster trust and engagement.</li><li>
Monitor workplace climate and employee concerns to identify early warning signs of union activity.</li><li>
Implement policies and initiatives that strengthen direct employer&ndash;employee relationships, emphasizing open-door communication and responsiveness.</li><li>
Ensure all union avoidance activities comply with labor laws and ethical standards.</li></ul></li><li>
Grievance &amp; Dispute Management<ul><li>
Administer grievance procedures, including investigation, documentation, and resolution.</li><li>
Partner with union representatives to address issues proactively.</li><li>
Prepare for arbitration or mediation when necessary.</li></ul></li><li>
Employee Relations &amp; Engagement<ul><li>
Foster effective management/union relations to support a positive workplace culture.</li><li>
Conduct workplace investigations (EEOC, harassment, disciplinary matters).</li><li>
Support attendance programs and disciplinary processes.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Coaching &amp; Support for Leaders<ul><li>
Advise supervisors on labor relations practices.</li><li>
Provide training on conflict resolution, contract interpretation, and employee engagement.</li><li>
Support lean manufacturing initiatives through workforce alignment.</li></ul></li></ul><div></div><div>
Education and Experience</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li></ul><ul><li>
2&ndash;5 years of HR or labor relations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and grievance procedures.</li></ul><div></div>
