 As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for creating technical specifications and defining requirements according to design standards, fulfill tasks and targets set by the organization, resolve any issues which may arise in the manufacturing process or in the field, and provide technical support as well as troubleshooting.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 How You&rsquo;ll Make an Impact
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Preparation of technical specifications, verification of supplier bids with clarifications, technical supplier negotiations including risk assessment and commercial selection support for Air Intake system, Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers, Noise Enclosures, and Fire Protection system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviewing internal and external designs and documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support procurement department regarding technical issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination with Lead Engineer, Customer, Procurement, Suppliers, other Engineering departments, and Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring alignment of the supplier&rsquo;s solution with requirements specification, customer needs, and interface partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend manufacturing shop inspections, perform field/site support during installation, commissioning and warranty.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proposal support for Bid Management team.
 </li>

 What You Bring
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 6+ years related technical experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Detailed knowledge of auxiliary mechanical systems of a gas turbine, such as air intake, acoustic enclosure, ventilation, fire protection.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capability to handle cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationally.
 </li>

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 &bull; Maintain professional appearance of building lobby and reception area.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure meeting rooms serviced appropriately prior to meetings/events and assist with large events set up, room reservation, planning, and execution.
 
 
 &bull; Receive/ distribute mail and perform shipping functions for facility.
 
 
 &bull; Function as a liaison between event coordinators, customers, vendors, and visitors.

 &bull; Generate purchase orders using Ariba and manage expenses in concur.
 
 
 &bull; Distributes all outbound mail in time for daily departure by courier or US Government Client. Manages international shipping function and becomes familiar with relevant shipping rules and regulations.
 
 
 &bull; Manages conference room bookings, loaner equipment (remote controls, adaptors, headphones, etc.) distribution.

 Qualification

 Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required; CPA, CMA or another Chartered Credential preferred

 5+ years finance experience, with FP&amp;A and operational analysis strengths

 Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working directly with senior management

 <li>
 System proficiency including Excel, Hyperion, SAP or other ERP &amp; data mining software.

 Strong analytical skills including financial planning and working capital analysis
