We are committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of our work.About the RoleThe Estate Planning Paralegal plays a vital role in our virtual estate planning process. You'll facilitate secure online meetings using NetLaw and Zoom, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients, attorneys, and financial advisors. Your technical skills will be crucial in assisting clients with onboarding into the NetLaw system and scheduling meetings. You'll also draft, review, and support the execution of estate planning documents. Excellent written and verbal communication are essential to guide clients through the process.The ability to work independently, maintain organization, and prioritize confidentiality is a must with a strong attention to detail. A solid understanding of estate planning principles and flexibility will round out your qualifications for this rewarding role.WE DO NOT DO PROBATECore Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain database of clients, financial advisors, and legal team; monitor progress; log activity; provide updates; enter/update data, etc.</li><li>Communicate with financial advisors and clients to ensure they properly engage and complete required tasks.</li><li>The ability to orchestrate and maintain a synchronized calendar for virtual meetings involving clients, attorneys, and financial advisors is crucial for this role.</li><li>Monitor and respond to inquiries through the online support function (chat, email, and video meetings).</li><li>A dependable and reliable demeanor is key to fostering trust with clients and legal team and ensuring adherence to deadlines and swift responses.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to users on NetLaw system, video conferences tools, and other technology.</li><li>Assist Attorneys with client support needs such as document drafting, preparing final documents, client follow-up communications, etc.</li><li>Complete other tasks as assigned by management.</li><li>Assist in the oversight and training of legal assistants for the virtual practice.</li></ul>Skills and Requirements<ul><li>4+ years of experience in Estate Planning and drafting Estate Planning documents required.</li><li>Ability and desire to facilitate virtual meetings with camera on required.</li><li>Prior experience with case and/or project management required.
