Ref: NICT - HR/JD &ndash; 20PURCHASE EXECUTIVELocation: Head officeDepartment: PurchaseReporting to: Director Finance &amp; HRJob Summary: Responsible for ensuring availability of input components / materials for production as per the production schedule, managing the company&rsquo;s domestic procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.Duties and responsibilities:&middot; Generate clear understanding of the input components and materials in detail&middot; Learn the current suppliers of each component and terms and conditions of purchase from the vendor master&middot; Collaborate with Operation manager for the production schedule and material plan&middot; Coordinate with Stores for the inventory and stock level&middot; Generate Economic ordering quantity for each input components&middot; Analyze the above factors and calculate the reordering quantity for each component&middot; Generate purchase order for the input components to the supplier from the vendor master&middot; Ensure correctness of the PO in terms of Quantity, specification details, other term and conditions of purchase agreed&middot; Arrange approval from Director Finance &amp; HR, if there is any change in terms and conditions agreed&middot; Get financial approval for the purchase order&middot; Submit the PO to the vendor for material supply&middot; Follow -up with Finance department if advance payment is required&middot; Track the status of the PO and trouble shoot for any logistic uncertainty&middot; Arrange approval from Director Finance if any additional cost is involved in resolving the logistic problems&middot; Inform the Operation manager if any delay in the delivery schedule&middot; Ensure arrangements for Goods receipt with stores / warehouse and quantity and quality confirmation&middot; Collect samples for periodic lab test if any&middot; Post purchase entry in the system and get approval from finance department&middot; Follow- up for the payment to the vendor&middot; Remove the vendor from vendor master if any misappropriation proved&middot; Assist in Purchase strategy planning and policy formulation&middot; Identify alternative components effecting cost reduction&middot; Perform Vendor identification, vendor master updating, vendor relations and vendor evaluation&middot; Forecast market changes including tax variation plans, introduction of alternatives etc.&middot; Strive for cost control and improving the effectiveness of the process&#61472; Job Specifications:&middot; Technical skills: Thorough knowledge of purchase process and input components&middot; Analytical and decision-making ability: to analyze the data and gathering information skillfully and develops alternative solutions&middot; Cross functional prospective and team development: Coordination of purchase process with the works of other departments and people&middot; Customer orientation skills: to keep a customer focused approach both external and internal&middot; Communication skills: Good written, verbal and presentation skills&middot; Team work: good team facilitator&middot; Management skills: to plan and schedule the activities of his section in accordance with business operations, organize necessary resources and support to perform overall purchase process&middot; Initiative: shall be able to undertake responsibilities at need without instructions and shall be versatile.Education:Graduate or Post graduate Diploma in Material ManagementDesirable: MBA in Material ManagementComputer skills: MS Office and ERP SystemsLanguage skills: English, Hindi and MalayalamExperience: 4 to 6 years of experience with more than 1 years of experience in similar IndustryOther relevant Information of the job:Prepared by: HR Department Date: 29/7/2024Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;18,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In personExpected Start Date: 29/09/2025
