Job Description:
As a Senior Python Software Engineer, you will be integral to the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of the IT infrastructure. You will leverage your Python expertise to develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects. This includes large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics to support a forensic and investigative ecosystem.
Requirements:<ul><li>
U.S. Citizenship is required</li><li>
Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.</li><li>
This position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA</li></ul>
Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Python.</li><li>
Experience with SAFe Agile framework.</li><li>
Strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex software solutions in secure government environments.</li><li>
Advanced proficiency with Python, including its libraries and frameworks.</li><li>
Experience in complex system architecture design using Python.</li></ul>
Advanced Technical skill and experience:<ul><li>
Message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis.</li><li>
Data platforms like Elasticsearch and Splunk.</li><li>
Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>
Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S).</li><li>
DevSecOps practices and tools.</li><li>
Performance optimization and scalability design.</li><li>
Security engineering principles.</li><li>
Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte).</li><li>
Data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache Nifi.</li><li>
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).</li><li>
GraphQL.</li><li>
Microservices architecture.</li><li>
SAFe Agile methodologies.</li><li>
Working in classified environments.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:
Python Development: 
<ul><li>
Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects with a primary focus on Python.</li><li>
Develop and implement technical efforts using Python for large-scale data processing, computational modeling, and advanced analytics.</li></ul> 
General Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Integrate third-party components and introduce new custom capabilities using Python.</li><li>
Modify existing Python code and recommend process improvements.</li><li>
Automate operations and maintenance tasks using Python and related automation tools.</li><li>
Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle.</li><li>
Contribute to planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and quality assurance.</li><li>
Participate in technical project milestone reviews and code architecture sessions.</li><li>
Provide resource estimation and development best practices knowledge transfer.</li><li>
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.</li><li>
Support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.</li></ul>

Job Description:
As a Python Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of the IT infrastructure.
