We are looking for highly skilled People to join our dynamic team immediately.Job Description We are seeking a skilled ELV/ICT Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical design, tendering, and engineering coordination of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information &amp; Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.You will bridge the gap between sales and commissioning by producing detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for systems including Structured Cabling (Copper/Fibre), CCTV, Access Control, and Audio Visual (AV).Key ResponsibilitiesDesign &amp; Engineering<ul><li>Produce detailed design drawings (AutoCAD/Revit), schematics, and riser diagrams for ELV/ICT systems</li><li>Perform link loss budgets, PoE power calculations, and wireless coverage predictions (Ekahau/iBwave)</li><li>Select suitable passive and active network components (switches, routers, patch panels, fibre trays)</li><li>Design structured cabling systems compliant with TIA/EIA, BICSI, and BS EN 50173 standards</li></ul>ELV Systems (Security &amp; Automation)Design integrated systems including:<ul><li>IP-based CCTV (camera placement, storage calculation, retention periods)</li><li>Access Control Systems (ACS): controllers, readers, maglocks, backup systems</li><li>Structured Cabling: CAT6A/7 and fibre (OM4/OS2)</li><li>AV / MATV / IPTV distribution &amp; BMS integration pathways</li></ul>Tendering &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), RFPs, and Scope of Work document</li><li>Ensure compliance with local authority standards and regulations</li><li>Review subcontractor shop drawings for design compliance</li></ul>Technical Requirements<ul><li>AutoCAD (Advanced), Revit (Intermediate), Bluebeam, MS Visio, Excel</li><li>VLANs, Subnetting, IP addressing, Wi-Fi systems, Firewalls</li><li>Copper (CAT6/6A/7), Fibre (SM/MM), termination &amp; testing (Fluke DTX)</li><li>CCTV platforms (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, Milestone)</li><li>Access Control (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Paxton, Gallagher)</li><li>TIA/EIA 568/569/606, BICSI, BS 7671, GDPR (CCTV compliance)</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Strong background in ELV &amp; ICT design for EPC projects</li><li>Able to design ELV &amp; ICT systems for large buildings, educational institutes, hypermarkets, etc.</li><li>Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure or building projects</li><li>Solid knowledge of ELV / low current systems design</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of ELV/ICT design experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of structured cabling and security systems</li><li>BICSI RCDD (or working towards certification)</li><li>Certifications such as CNCI, Fluke CCTT, or AutoCAD Professional</li><li>Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you comfortable working on a remote, project-based engagement?</li><li>Have you previously worked in a fully remote engineering or design role?</li><li>What types of projects have you handled (e.g., commercial buildings, educational institutes, hypermarkets)?</li><li>Which tools do you use for design (AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, etc.), and how do you collaborate remotely using them?</li><li>Do you have a reliable internet connection and required hardware/software for remote design work?</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
