Our environment supports small class sizes limited to 15 students and emphasizes creativity and student-centered learning, with involvement from board members, community stakeholders, and parents.&middot; Candidates should be committed to high academic standards for students and skilled at scaffolding abilities to support their success.&middot; Experience in planning, teaching, and collaborating with middle school team teachers is valued.&middot; Background or familiarity with AP-US History and/or World History is beneficial.&middot; Familiarity with PRE AP classes is also preferred.&middot; A thorough understanding of the subject area and the ability to design and teach comprehensive units for deep learning are essential.&middot; Applicants should strive to develop dynamic, challenging lessons that prepare students for AP exams.&middot; The role requires clear communication of complex topics so middle school students can access and understand the material.&middot; Planning for small group and one-on-one instruction should be informed by students&rsquo; regular assessment data.&middot; Ability to apply Understanding by Design methodology for Project-Based Learning connected to CCSS and AP test skills, including the creation of grading rubrics, is necessary.We welcome educators from both traditional and non-traditional backgrounds.
