</ul></div><div><div>As a Controller at New Lyfe Accounting (NLA), you are accountable for managing all aspects of client accounting operations. You partner closely with the Staff Accountant to deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy and professionalism. You assume full ownership of the financial statements and WIP reports, ensuring the integrity, timeliness, and reliability of all client financial data. As a 100% remote role, you&rsquo;ll have clear expectations and a high level of autonomy to crush your goals.</div><div><br>

<div>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</div>
<ul><li>Ownership of financial reporting, including the WIP</li>
<li>Process evaluation and improvements</li>
<li>Overseeing other accounting functions</li>
<li>Meeting cadences</li>
<li>Communication with third parties</li>
<li>Building long-lasting client relationships</li>
<li>Training and collaborating with team members</li>
</ul><div>How you&rsquo;ll contribute:</div>
<ul><li>Managing the month-end close process and controls</li>
<li>Adjusting journal entries</li>
<li>Financial reporting</li>
<li>WIP inquiries and reporting</li>
<li>Reviewing team members&rsquo; work and providing constructive coaching</li>
<li>Leading client meetings with financial insights</li>
<li>Assisting with financial audits and reviews</li>
<li>Communicating with third parties like banks, CPAs, and surety professionals</li>
</ul><div>What you&rsquo;ll bring to the table:</div>
<ul><li>5 years of accounting experience (required)</li>
<li>2 years of Construction-specific accounting experience (required)</li>
<li>Accounting Degree (required)</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>The ability to work remotely and independently</li>
<li>The ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Proficiency in Excel/GSuite</li>
<li>Excellent service skills when interacting with clients.</li>
<li>Ability to manage and lead a team</li>
