The Infrastructure product organization develops New Relic infrastructure instrumentation agents, next generation data processing and management services, vulnerability management,

cloud web services, and more). As a senior backend engineer, you will help us build and extend next generation solutions such as a control plane for customers to manage their data pipelines at scale.

What you'll do 
<ul><li>Design, Build, maintain, and scale back-end services and their support tools.</li><li>Participate in architectural definitions with a high degree of innovation and creativity.</li><li>Creating automation and tooling to make our systems more scalable and easier to deploy.</li><li>Working directly within a multidisciplinary team to help our customers and partners.</li><li>Research new tools and services to understand complex scenarios and to also propose new features.</li><li>Working in an agile environment with a DevOps approach&mdash;teams build and maintain their own software, including taking turns with being on-call.</li></ul>
This role requires 
<ul><li>1-3 Years of hands-on professional experience with distributed systems, concurrency,and scaling in a production environment.</li><li>Strong experience in writing software in GoLang and React, you are not afraid of adapting, learning and working with different languages and frameworks.Understanding of clouds like AWS, Azure and GCP.</li><li>Being comfortable in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering production code at a regular cadence using Agile techniques, tools and methodologies.</li><li>Having a collaborative work style that includes colleagues in important decisions and leads to shared code ownership</li><li>Be able to work with the rest of the team to solve and design distributed solutions to solve complex problems</li></ul>

Your opportunity 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer to join our growing team in India. This role requires a hands-on expert in Salesforce and Service Cloud technologies, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects and providing ongoing support. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with our US team, providing mentorship to local developers, and ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of our Salesforce Service Cloud solutions.

What you'll do 
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including custom objects, Apex code, Lightning components, Flows, and Process Builder.</li>
<li>Lead technical discussions, define technical requirements, and provide architectural guidance for Service Cloud implementations.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with our US-based team, ensuring a few hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) to facilitate seamless communication and project coordination.</li>
<li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers in India, fostering their growth and ensuring best practices are followed.</li>
<li>Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Service Cloud projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.</li>
<li>Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain documentation for all technical solutions.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce Service Cloud.</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.</li>
<li>Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.</li> 
</ul>
This role requires 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li>
<li>8+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong focus on Salesforce Service Cloud.</li>
<li>Proven expertise in Apex, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), Salesforce APIs, Flows, Process Builder, SOQL, and SOSL.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of Service Cloud features such as Case Management, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Live Agent, Knowledge, and Entitlements.</li>
<li>Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP APIs).</li>
<li>Solid understanding of Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and governor limits.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.</li>
<li>Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong mentorship and leadership abilities.</li>
</ul>

<li>Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.</li>
