Your Role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
<ul>
<li>Assess Behavioral Strengths and Needs &ndash; Assess initial and ongoing behavioral strengths and needs of students per school assessment protocols and timelines.</li>
<li>Crisis Intervention &ndash; Utilize non-violent crisis intervention techniques and physically assist.</li>
<li>IEP and Team Meetings &ndash; Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other meetings.</li>
<li>Service Provision and Monitoring &ndash; Provide, and monitor services as stated in the student&rsquo;s IEP.</li>
<li>Behavior Goal Development &ndash; Develop behavior goals for the IEP and Positive Behavior Support Plan.</li>
<li>Behavior Plan Revisions and Oversight &ndash; Revise and oversee the implementation of student behavior plans as necessary.</li>
<li>Functional Behavioral Assessment &ndash; Conduct a Functional Behavioral Assessment for students, as needed.</li>
<li>Data Collection System &ndash; Develop a system of data collection for staff to support interventions and change.</li>
<li>Individualized Behavior Plans &ndash; Develop and implement individualized behavior plans that reflect the individual needs of the student and the dynamics of the school setting.</li>
<li>FBA Analysis and Behavior Plan Development &ndash; Analyze FBA &amp; data sheets and develop individualized behavior intervention plans using data and input from others involved with the student.</li>
<li>Behavior Data Analysis &ndash; Collect and graph behavior data recorded by school staff for analysis in Positive Behavior Support Plan effectiveness.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s degree in education, Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis and current enrollment in a company approved BCBA program; or Master&rsquo;s degree in education, Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis and completion of coursework required for BCBA certification; or Master&rsquo;s degree in related field and BCaBA certification.</li>
<li>Two years&rsquo; experience working with children in the implementation of therapeutic skills acquisition and behavior change protocols.</li>
