 Physician Assistant - Spine &amp; Pain Institute Los Angeles
 
 
 Spine &amp; Pain Institute Los Angeles located in Pasadena, CA is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team led by Dr. Saifullah, a Pain Management Specialist. As a Physician Assistant you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting in various clinical and procedural tasks.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to
 
 :
 
 
 Patient Care:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Evaluate patients presenting with chronic pain conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Saifullah.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in performing various diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to joint injections, trigger point injections, epidural steroid injections, RFAs and SCS trials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Educate patients on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prescribe therapy and or medication per practice guidelines
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Clinical Documentation:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate electronic medical records of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all documentation standards and protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance patient care outcomes and safety.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Compliance:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain and renew required licensing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Practice in accordance with policies, protocols and state/national regulatory licensing guidelines.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Certified as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA or eligible for certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Two years of experience are preferred. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered care,
 </li>
 <li>
 EMR system adaptability
 </li>
 <li>
 Microsoft Office experience
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Schedule
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Monday- Friday
 </li>
 <li>
 8am to 5pm
 </li>
 <li>
 Lunch 12:00-1:00
