Superintendent is a full-time, exempt position that oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary, however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the site.</p><div></div><ul><li><br>
Meet with building owners/ tenants to discuss build-out specifications and improvements.</li><li>Create estimates for build-out projects, including labor, supplies, materials and other ancillary costs.</li><li>Maintain a daily job site log.</li><li>Coordinate all construction services and activities.</li><li>Maintain the schedule and budget; make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Leading and managing the on-site construction crew.</li><li>Attending production meetings.</li><li>Constant communication with their Project Manager.</li><li>Ensuring quality standards are met.</li><li>Placing orders for materials and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.</li><li>Following the project timeline.</li><li>Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliances. Also maintaining a safety/ injury log for each project.</li><li>Maintain site cleanliness and orderliness.</li><li>Keep detailed records for site personnel.</li><li>Oversees all phases of project.</li><li>This position requires some exposure to the elements, i.e. inclement weather, extreme heat or cold, wind, etc.</li><li>This position requires little travel, mostly from jobsite to jobsite or jobsite to office.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ambidextrous hand motions and ability to grip objects is a must.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Must have completed at least 5 high-end, custom projects prior.</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Time-management</li><li>Leadership: Candidate must be able to collaborate with a diverse team of internal and external partners.</li><li>Adaptive</li><li>Responsive</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field;</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role</li><li>Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites</li><li>In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Procore, Sage Intacct, Bluebeam, etc.</b></div><div></div><div><br>
