Busy Immunology/Allergy Practice in NYC, has a great opportunity for a experienced, Medical Assistant/Receptionist to work at our Staten Island office 4x a week, Mondays Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The right candidate must have experience working in a fast paced, high volume setting. Must also have experience in scheduling appointments, customer service, patient registration, insurance/referral requirements, renewing of prescriptions and other facets of the practice.Requirements:<ul><li>1 year in a medical practice as a Receptionist</li><li>Must have insurance knowledge</li><li>Experience using EMR systems, ECW is a PLUS</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Strong team player</li><li>Able to work independently</li><li>Critical Thinking skills</li><li>Sensitive to patient needs</li><li>Multi tasking</li></ul>Medical Assistant responsibilities:<ul><li>Direct patient flow</li><li>Triage patients</li><li>Support the clinical staff</li><li>Enter patient information into EHR</li><li>Updating office inventory</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourExperience:<ul><li>Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
