Job Title: Product Workflow Designer (Remote)Location: Remote (must be available for early mornings EST &ndash; East Coast &amp; Europe overlap) Eligibility: Must be U.S. work-eligible (citizen or authorized to work for a U.S. company) Compensation: Based on experience, with meaningful growth potential Type: Full-time (or freelance-to-permanent)We&rsquo;re looking for someone who notices what others miss.This role is the glue between design, data, production, and operations&mdash;a hybrid position for someone who lives in Illustrator and Photoshop but thinks like a builder, not just a designer.You&rsquo;ll manage packaging layout templates, product data, image assets, SKUs, and technical details across our catalog. You&rsquo;ll make things more scalable, more accurate, and more beautiful. And you'll grow into a product management role that owns the entire product lifecycle&mdash;from concept to production to sunsetting.This is not a traditional designer role, and it's not just production or ops. It&rsquo;s all of it, together. Perfect for a creative who loves systems&mdash;or an operator with a design brain.What you&rsquo;ll be doing:<ul><li>Build and manage packaging templates in Illustrator and Photoshop, tied to product data (titles, barcodes, piece counts, etc.)</li><li>Use and manage CSV data to auto-populate files and ensure accuracy across SKUs</li><li>Export production-ready files, manage naming conventions, and keep folders and systems clean</li><li>Create assets for email campaigns, retail displays, and 3D mockups as needed</li><li>Use light code or automation tools to speed up repetitive design/export tasks</li><li>Own the data integrity of our product catalog&mdash;no mismatched SKUs, no wrong versions, no errors</li><li>Help us source and manufacture new products, especially with Made-in-USA partners whenever possible</li><li>Work with vendors from sampling to production, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost stay aligned with our standards</li><li>MaintainCreate and maintain production specsspecifications, artwork, and status tracking across active SKUs</li><li>Conduct market research to aid in product development.</li><li>Over time, grow into a Product Manager role overseeing product lifecycles from idea to retirement</li></ul>You might be a fit if you:<ul><li>Are deeply fluent in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop</li><li>Think in templates, systems, and folders as much as pixels and layers</li><li>Know how to work with CSV files, data-driven templates, and export pipelines</li><li>Have experience working with vendors or manufacturers, or you're eager to learn</li><li>Bonus if you&rsquo;ve worked on U.S.-based production or understand small-batch sourcing constraints</li><li>Can use light code, scripts, or automation tools to solve problems (even if it&rsquo;s messy)</li><li>Have experience with 3D renderings (or are curious to learn)</li><li>Write clearly and think quickly</li><li>Take initiative, fix things without being asked, and love creating order</li><li>Are open to starting in one role and growing into product leadership</li><li>Hold yourself to exacting standards&mdash;you spot inconsistencies, errors, and loose ends before anyone else</li><li>Are comfortable working early mornings to align with U.S. and European teams</li></ul>To apply:Send an email to jobs@newyorkpuzzlecompany.com with the following, in this order:<ul><li>A short note about yourself</li><li>A link to your portfolio or most relevant work</li><li>Tell us about a tool or process you&rsquo;ve created, improved, or automated</li><li>Tell us about one hard problem you solved that no one asked you to rectify</li><li>Tell us about something you've made using AI</li><li>Tell us which What is your favorite puzzle we make?
