 A rapidly growing technology startup is seeking a Senior Editor to join its in-house creative team. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled editor and motion designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands how to create content that captures attention, drives engagement, and keeps audiences coming back for more.
 
 
 
 
 
 The ideal candidate is a post-production expert with exceptional editing instincts, strong motion design capabilities, and a deep understanding of what makes social and digital content successful. This is not a content creator role. The company is looking for someone who can take raw footage and quickly transform it into polished, high-impact content that feels intentional, on-brand, and visually compelling.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead post-production across a variety of content formats, including social-first content, sizzle reels, hype videos, brand storytelling, and marketing campaigns
 </li>
 <li>
 Edit high-volume, fast-turnaround content while maintaining exceptional quality standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Create engaging narratives through strong pacing, rhythm, visual storytelling, and audience awareness
 </li>
 <li>
 Incorporate motion graphics, animation, and visual effects to elevate content and enhance engagement
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to bring concepts to life
 </li>
 <li>
 Take projects from raw footage through final delivery with minimal oversight
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute creative ideas and help shape content direction when needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and creative objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 7+ years of professional editing and post-production experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced motion graphics and animation skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and related post-production tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Portfolio demonstrating social-first content, hype reels, sizzle reels, and high-energy digital storytelling
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional understanding of pacing, visual rhythm, and audience engagement
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working within agency, production studio, media, entertainment, or in-house creative environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and collaboration skills
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience creating content for technology, consumer, entertainment, sports, or lifestyle brands
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience developing motion systems and visual storytelling frameworks
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to contribute creatively beyond execution and provide input on content strategy and storytelling
 </li>
 </ul>
