Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Process and fulfill specialty prescriptions, including data entry, labeling, and coordination of delivery</li><li>
Take ownership of prior authorizations, benefits investigations, and insurance adjudication, resolving rejections and removing barriers to care</li><li>
Communicate with covered entities, providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure timely access to specialty medications</li><li>
Coordinate patient onboarding, refills, and medication adherence programs</li><li>
Maintain accurate documentation in pharmacy systems (PrimeRx or similar)</li><li>
Assist with inventory management and specialty drug handling requirements (including cold chain when applicable)</li><li>
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, URAC/NABP standards, and state/federal regulations</li><li>
Escalate clinical or operational issues to the pharmacist as needed</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License</li><li>
2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in specialty, retail, or high-volume environments</li><li>
Strong knowledge of:<ul><li>
Prior authorizations</li><li>
Pharmacy billing and insurance processing</li><li>
Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans</li></ul></li><li>
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage complex workflows</li></ul>
Preferred Experience<ul><li>
Specialty medications (HIV, PrEP, Hepatitis C)</li><li>
Patient assistance programs (PAF, copay assistance)</li><li>
Adherence programs and refill coordination</li><li>
Experience with PrimeRx</li></ul>

Specialty Pharmacy Technician

<div>As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to perform duties related to the dispensing of prescription medications and providing excellent customer service to patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing medications, assisting with inventory management, processing insurance claims, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Retrieving, pouring, counting, labeling, and reconstituting prescription medications</li><li>
Accessing, inputting, and retrieving information through the Pharmacy&rsquo;s computer network to maintain accurate records</li><li>
Creating accurate prescription labels</li><li>
Obtaining refill authorizations from prescribers</li><li>
Processing and preparing third-party insurance claims</li><li>
Communicating with physicians, patients, and third parties, such as insurers</li><li>
Maintaining accurate patient/ client profiles</li><li>
Maintaining Pharmacy inventory</li><li>
Preparing reports related to sales, usage, and inventory</li><li>
Complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>
Providing completed orders to customers</li><li>
Answering phones and directing customer calls to the appropriate personnel</li><li>
Maintaining and cleaning equipment, work areas, and shelves</li><li>
Accepting prescriptions to be filled and ensuring that the PIC has the data necessary to fill the orders</li><li>
Greeting and assisting customers</li><li>
Recordkeeping related to inventories, receipts, purchases, and deliveries</li><li>
Collecting co-payments</li><li>
Packaging and labeling products under the supervision of the PIC</li><li>
Restocking shelves</li><li>
Unpacking and organizing incoming merchandise, including sorting items that require special handling</li><li>
Checking for outdated medications and notifying the PIC of low inventories
</li><li>Understanding confidentiality with respect to patient/ client care; complying with all federal and state laws applicable to the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI); and following HIPAA guidelines regarding readily identifiable protected health information</li><li>

Pharmacy Technician

<div>The delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of medications and supplies to customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations</li><li>
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries</li><li>
Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as necessary</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations</li><li>
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during deliveries</li><li>
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians</li><li>

From cycle fills to STAT orders, your work will directly support patient care across multiple facilities. There is always something happening, and your attention to detail makes all the difference.
