Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Assistant to support our legal team in managing personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, legal research capabilities, and familiarity with litigation processes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic law office environment, providing essential support to attorneys handling personal injury claims and related legal matters.Duties<ul><li>Assist attorneys with case management, including document review, filing, and organization using legal case management systems.</li><li>Conduct legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other relevant databases to support case development.</li><li>Draft and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Manage data entry and maintain accurate client records, ensuring all case files are up-to-date and compliant with firm standards.</li><li>Coordinate and schedule depositions, court dates, and client meetings while maintaining effective communication through phone etiquette and organizational skills.</li><li>Support litigation activities including document review, discovery processes, and trial preparation for personal injury cases.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks such as filing, transcription, proofreading, and managing contracts related to personal injury law.</li><li>Collaborate with attorneys on legal research concerning personal injury law.</li><li>Provide executive administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Paralegal experience or previous legal administrative experience in a law office setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of personal injury law is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency with legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis.</li><li>Experience with legal case management software.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.</li><li>Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.</li><li>Attention to detail in proofreading and document review tasks.</li><li>Effective interviewing skills for client interactions when necessary.</li><li>Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.</li><li>Clerical skills including filing, transcription, and general administrative support.</li><li>Knowledge of litigation procedures and experience supporting trial preparation preferred.</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette combined with professional communication skills.
