Job Title: Program Manager, Fleet Operations Location: Foster City, CA (Onsite) Pay: $42.00 &ndash; $47.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time | Contract Schedule: Monday &ndash; Friday | Standard Business Hours Start Date: ASAPJob OverviewA leading autonomous ride-hailing company is seeking a Program Manager, Fleet Operations to oversee the reliable and efficient operation of its autonomous vehicle fleet. This role focuses on delivering cross-functional projects, optimizing maintenance and repair workflows, and improving vehicle uptime across service and R&amp;D fleets.You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to manage fleet programs, streamline processes, and ensure vehicles are properly configured and ready for service.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and manage detailed program plans for fleet initiatives, including milestones, service checkpoints, and project roadmaps</li><li>Create and implement risk mitigation strategies for fleet-wide issues</li><li>Oversee fleet management activities such as production planning, vehicle movements, and operational readiness</li><li>Work with internal and external stakeholders to align on program goals and drive actions</li><li>Optimize maintenance and repair workflows to reduce downtime and increase fleet availability</li><li>Support work instruction development, demand planning, parts planning, and tooling needs</li><li>Utilize Engineering Bill of Materials (EBoM) and Service Bill of Materials (SBoM) for accurate configuration management</li><li>Translate engineering requirements into actionable rework tasks</li><li>Lead the resolution of containment tasks and coordinate technician and vehicle scheduling</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3+ years of Program or Project Management experience</li><li>3+ years of automotive industry experience</li><li>3+ years of leadership experience</li><li>Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to multitask, manage tight timelines, and remain calm under pressure</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to safety</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with fleet configuration, maintenance workflow optimization, or AV operations</li><li>Familiarity with KPI development, process mapping, or continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Background supporting engineering or technician teams</li><li>Understanding of vehicle lifecycle planning or R&amp;D fleet support</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Employer-subsidized healthcare (medical, dental, vision)</li><li>Pre-tax commuter benefits</li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li><li>Employer-covered disability and life insurance</li><li>401(k) retirement plan</li></ul>Additional Details<ul><li>This is a contract position based onsite in Foster City, CA</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li><li>Background check and onboarding required prior to start</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Can you describe a program you managed that involved optimizing fleet operations or maintenance workflows?
