</div></div><div><div><div><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>
Nicholas O&rsquo;Dwyer Ltd. is seeking a <b>Contract Administrator / Senior Quantity Surveyor</b> to lead all commercial and contractual aspects of a major water infrastructure supervision project. The role will focus on contract administration, cost control, claims management, and financial reporting, ensuring the Client&rsquo;s interests are protected throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p><b>
Key Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><ul>
<li>Administer construction contracts in line with project requirements.</li>
<li>Review and certify interim payments and final accounts.</li>
<li>Measure and verify quantities of completed works.</li>
<li>Assess and manage variations, claims, and contractual disputes.</li>
<li>Provide commercial and contractual advice to the Client.</li>
<li>Maintain full contractual documentation and records.</li>
<li>Support procurement and tender evaluation processes.</li>
<li>Monitor project costs and identify financial risks.</li>
<li>Participate in progress meetings and provide commercial updates.</li>
<li>Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and claims assessments.</li>
<li>Coordinate with engineering teams on variation impacts.</li>
<li>Undertake additional responsibilities as required, in line with the evolving needs of the role and the business.</li></ul><p><b>
Key Requirements</b></p><ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum 15 years&rsquo; experience in contract administration / QS roles.</li>
<li>Preferably a Postgraduate Diploma in Contract Administration.</li>
<li>Strong experience with FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.</li>
<li>Proven experience in large infrastructure or water projects.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.</li>
<li>Chartered status (e.g. MRICS or equivalent) is Desirable</li>
<li>Strong understanding of procurement strategies and dispute resolution.</li>
<li>Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.</li></ul>
